This video brings a lot of memories, as I had interviewed you both on that faithful day in Osaka. First time meeting you, Shawn White, Jeremy Jones, Trevor Andrew and Bud Fawcett, all legends in your rights. Cheers, hope you're keeping frosty and healthy.
I am interested in the x2 fa as well. But what I saw from the specs is that its front is quite rocker and than flat is that right? I am not sure if it gives me enough edge hold when carving on groomers when there is not enough snow for powder :D. Currently I have a Korua Pencil which has a floaty rocker nose and a camber under foot. So haveing kind of an S shape. So the X2 FA looks nice and I am just a bit scary because of no camber and edge hold :/ do you have some more info here?
Edge hold and carving is incredible on that board. You just have to get used to the style of riding true 3D boards. You have to lean further into the turn than you do on a "normal" board. It works great.
I saw the X2 board at Rhytmn Niseko last January and thinking about that board is just amazing shape but expensive enough like the moss boards (140K Yen above) When you try it what do you think sir? Is that board is better than the Rocketfish Hp? Lemme know, thanks
