  • Classic Car Addict is excited to present this highly original 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with 30,231 miles for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. The cars of our youth are making a huge comeback but are rarely seen today in this condition and with low mileage. I’m sure many of you searching for a Z28 have fond memories of removing the T-Tops and cruising the streets Saturday night.
With the car averaging less than 817 miles annually, the interior is in excellent shape. That's especially important, because as a T-top Z/28, you can easily share the gray interior with the world. The combination of the gray against the red exterior (with gray exterior accents) makes this an instant attention-grabber. More than just the fantastically preserved presentation, you're going to love this because it's loaded inside. Comfortable bucket seats with an armrest center console in-between, power windows, power locks, cruise control, a tilt wheel, rear defrost, cold air conditioning, and an upgraded SONY Bluetooth AM/FM/CD player hooked up to a terminator 4-channel amp/lightning audio mono block and a Pioneer TS-WX80BP sub. It also has an Autopage two-way alarm with remote start.
The full color package is what makes this Z/28 leave a terrific first impression. The red paint with the silver factory body kit reminds us that Chevy understood color coordination better than anyone else! In-between these two colors are a full factory stripe package. The exterior is finished with Z28 emblems and tuned port injection decals on the rocker panels as well. The paint has been resprayed to get rid of that old 80’s faded finish.
On a survivor like this, it's great to have the what's believed to be the original V8 under the hood. It looks exceptionally preserved, right down to the hoses and decals. Engine wise, you are looking at a completely untouched classic Camaro Z28. The fuel-injected 305 cubic-inch V8 is known for plenty of power and the kind of torque that you want. This is fantastic all-around cruiser thanks to features like power steering, front disc brakes, sway bars front & rear, and a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. This Z28 rolls on new Cooper Cobra Radial G/T’s, P255/60R15’s all the way around.
The 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is a high-performance combination of muscle car attitude and modern technology, so don’t miss out on this low mileage Z28! Call us today, 480-256-1459! It will be sold on a clean Arizona title. Also be sure to check out our website for 100+HD photos and our UA-cam page to see full walkaround and driving videos. You can also catch us on Facebook and Instagram with daily updates!

Well, that is a nice low mile find but.... that speedo head is out of an '87-'89 IROC Camaro. 1985 speedo heads only went up to 85 mph.

Not for the Z28. The Z28 had the 145 speedo.

@@ClassicCarAddicts ua-cam.com/video/QN_NrAmZGa0/v-deo.html @5:56 this is the speedo head that came in ALL 1985 Z28's and IROC's. Respectfully disagree.

No it didn’t. I run the central Texas thirdgen association and I’ve owned these cars since new. I’ve traced down every piece of information on these vehicles from their inception including the designers and the inspiration to such a radical change in 1982 for the thirdgen camaro design. ALL 1985 Camaros, IROC’s, Sport Coupes and Berlinettas had an 85mph speedometer. This is due to the government regulating the industry due to fuel consumption beliefs that this would somehow keep people from diving faster in conjunction with the fact that excessive automobile deaths deaths were rampant in those years. They figured if your speedometer only went to 85 then less people would be inclined to figure out how fast a car could go and it would keep people from speeding above 85mph on highways. THIS WAS LAW on EVERY CAR SOLD IN THE US IN 1985.
So the speedometer is NOT correct. Thank you.

I can stand behind the 5.0 Mustang back in those days ....But those Irocs were garbage my buddy had one It had bad valve guides from the factory and would smoke up start up at 30k miles . It had electrical issues with the electric fans A/C Leaks , dash gauges never worked properly that car was Dead at 90,000 Miles. Our Family had a 1987 5.0 Mustang that was a damn well built strong car in it's day you could beat so hard on that car it never gave In ....We Ended up selling it around 2000 with 240,000 Miles

It sounds like he didn’t take care of his and your family got lucky with your 5.0. Most of what I have seen and heard was just like you said at the beginning 5.0 owners usually stand behind them… mostly in the garage fixing them.
Just joking. We have an 84 Mustang GT350 coming in tomorrow with 70k miles. Not as nice as this one but close.
