And body cameras should not be under control of the wearer, with immediate dismissal for tampering. Too often, recordings go ‘missing’, especially if detrimental to the cops.

After he said "I know who you are" why did you not follow up with "then why did you just lie about what is and isn't legal?"

The way that cop acted of not needing a body camera is exactly why he needs one. it also should be live and local people that are voted on from the community should be the one that watch it... anytime that he's on duty and there's interaction with the public and the public want the camera review. remember anybody who investigation themselves will never find anything wrong.

Besides showing your interactions with various divisions of law enforcement, I really appreciate you filming historical markers that you come across. They are really interesting to see. I am a big history buff and it was always one of my most liked subjects in school. However, where I grew up in Virginia history stopped at the civil war. Nothing was taught about WWI, WW2, the Korean war, nor Vietnam. I just wonder if teaching has changed to include stuff after the Civil war now. At least I would hope so. I have never been to Texas, but I would like to visit there sometime. Thanks @News Now Community for what you do. It really is appreciated! Your fan from South Carolina!

Yeah Houston cops are very crooked I used to live there I was in county for a ticket and in Booking they had us line up on the wall facing the wall the officer told everyone to face the wall and do not turn around one guy didn't hear him turn around and hear what he said and the cop grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up off the floor and no one in there said or did anything about it that's just one incident several other incidents where they have came in and forcefully remove someone out of a cell for no reason now if you get into it with an officer they tell your family that you have gotten in trouble and that you are not allowed to see them for a month until you heal so that's firsthand what I have seen was Houston cops there's other incidents on that you need to look into them @@newsnebraska2392

I am so glad you are doing these videos, I work at a plant as a contractor, their rules and regulations are more and more against our constitutional rights. If these refineries ports and plants had their way they would control all of Houston and we’d have to have a badge to leave our house. They would arrest our children for playing in the front yard. Without people like you this society will lose touch with the freedom we were born with. Please continue what you are doing, your courage is making this place more like home.

These body cams are getting smaller and smaller.
I have thought about getting a glasses cam for just my personal safety.
Love how you make sure the videos are entertaining as well as informative.
Some of the Auditors I have blocked for several reasons....antagonistic, just the same stupid crap for 25 minutes and profanity being the biggest reason.
I guess that makes the videos more powerful and colorful but what it does is turns decent normal people off.
You slip once in a while but you apologize to your audience and you are usually provoked.

IMO, you are the best/most informed auditor that I have seen. I just wish you got angry more often - when you are angry/annoyed it gets exciting! Joking aside, it seems like many of the auditors can push the boundaries of becoming agitators - which can be entertaining. However, I think it leaves everyone involved with a "bad taste in their mouth," so to speak. However, your informed and calm approach to the audits has a much more lasting affect on the people you "educate." Thanks for the work.

The security guard needs to learn that 713-670-3611 is a police emergency number and is meant to be used for police emergencies, not for citizens fighting for their rights to be respected, especially considering that that POHPD is literally part of the same company he is. If he really knew his "protocols", he would know that. And the fact that the POHP has a very little amount of officers, so if another worker had an actual police emergency, they would have been held up because of an ego-hurt security guard. I would like to remind everyone that emergency numbers are phone numbers you call for ACTUAL emergencies. You don't call 911 to complain about a wrong hamburger at Burger King (something that actually happened in real life). Your instincts will tell you when to call 911.

Oh look, a Yellow Breasted Lesser Crested Security Guard Bird, this is a very rare sighting of this elusive bird, found mainly in Trucking Yards and near various Transport Hubs. With the loss of its natural habitat, the Yellow Breasted Lesser Crested Security Guard Bird can be seen most often nowadays in or near Government Buildings of Self Importance. The plaintive cry of the bird can be heard over great distances' as it calls its mate "Sir Sir, you can't do that here". The mating ritual of the Lesser Crested species is distinct from that of the Greater Crested Security Guard Bird in that the Lesser Species is know to flap its arms around in a seeming random manner all the while expecting anyone to know WTF he is doing. Due to the increase in the population of 1st Amendment Auditor Birds, who are know to predate the Yellow Breasted Lesser Crested Security Guard Bird, the birds are generally on the decline although rare examples of the Species can still be fond in isolated pockets across the entire country.

Just the fact that that officer feels as though he doesn’t need a bodycam shows his mindset and his outdated beliefs that he uses doing his job. He needs a training course on video technology applications in law enforcement and how it enhances police work. Video is the truth, literally, and not subject to opinion or interpretation.

it just frustrates me to no end... when police officers tell you you can't be taking pictures (or ask for ID), when they know that you can take pictures and you don't have to produce ID. (Are) they just stupid, which I don't think they are, or are they just lying trying to bully you. If they're just lying, then they're willingly and knowingly violating your rights and they see no problem in violating all your rights if they could. I think it's the "us against them" mentalilty and their "I'm superior" ego that drives them to break the law in 9 out of 10 encounters.
