Iowa, Nebraska and Penn State all have cupcake schedules compared to most in the Big 10. I could see one of those teams getting hot... Lean toward Penn State due to their balance.
I agree. I think many people will be absolutely surprised a team that scores as many points as Tennessee can still lose 7 games & miss out on a fun bowl game.
@@MikeHawkbaby Clemson? No. Not even sure where that came from, honestly. I do a show & I almost always have Tennessee high is all & then it goes wrong & I miss the over on wins, that's all. Cheers.
Agree on the Mizzou respect, but not including UT is odd. Best Dline in the SEC and potentially the country, top tier Oline, and excellent playmakers on offense. The Vols can surprise a lot of people this year
the Clemson decline will continue. people assume coaches are leaving because they can’t “adapt.” well you have dabo swinney. no comment on Iowa. after Ohio State the wheels fall off. expansion was made for teams like Penn State that can never get over the hump Kansas State is a wildcard Missouri is underrated
Clemson facing Georgia week 1 is actually a good thing. They will have experienced battling the toughest competition in the country. The result will be an aggressive and formidable team when they face App, NC St, and FSU. They will lose a close one to Georgia then go undefeated the rest of the year. Mark this!
Could be! Having no bye-week opponents helps (again), as does having 7 home games & the fewest travel miles in the sport, not to mention the most talented roster on the schedule after UGA.
But Professor Pate - Mizzou would have made a 12-team playoff last year - they bring back 14 starters - good incoming new RB's Marcus Carroll a tank and Nate Nowell from App State - they are +180 on Fan Duel to make the playoffs this year - I'm taking em' to make the playoffs - good odds - Finally, who's to say that clown committee won't let 5 SEC teams in the playoffs
I just can't find the losses for Clemson. No bye-week opponents (again), fewest travel miles in the sport outright, 7 home games, 2 favorable bye-weeks of their own ahead of 2 league contenders, & the most talent on the roster in the ACC outside of Miami (who isn't on the schedule). I just can't figure out where Clemson would lose enough ACC games to be fringe outright. 🤷🤷♂🤷♀
@@NFace23 That's a big reason to favor ND this year, too, to be fair (i.e., they have Riley Leonard from Duke). This year Clemson more talent and the vast favorability I mentioned above. I just can't find the losses for them is all. Cheers.

People have a tendency to talk about bubble teams, but you have to realize only 8 teams from the Power 4 conference are getting in. The last 4 slots should be given to teams like Memphis, Liberty, Georgia Southern, Northern Illinois. It should be this way.

If Iowa can manage a top 80 offense, they'll end up on the bubble.
Iowa needs to win a very big game, they would be last picked and it would be a begrudging pick. Like the committee had no choice
