Today I have been listening to gentle rain and rumbling thunder. It has been helpful in calming my anxiety down. Usually I only listen at night to help me sleep, but today it helped to calm me!
So its not just me that sleeps with a fan on high even in winter haha, I thought I was weird that I couldnt sleep without it. Never heard of brown noise until this very day and tripped across this video, I put it in my bookmarks bar, def going to use it.

There are tons of white noise with black screen videos out there but let’s be honest. This one is literally the best sounding white noise 1 Year Later: I’m still using it every night to fall asleep!

Reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in the hills of Virginia. We didn't have air conditioning in the house, all we had was an old window fan that sounded exactly like this. I went to sleep many a night to the sound of that old fan. This brings back so many memories of my childhood! Thank you!
