It was 2010, I was freshly houseless, and living outta my truck. My friend Zach Benson showed me Little Wings and it just clicked... From surfing, to living minimally, to dedicating my life to visual and audible creations, to being outdoors, to dressing like a homeless artsy hipster... Lol. I knew then Kyle and I would've been friends. I met him a few years later at a show in LA, but didn't have the best first impression. My crush was crushed. However, I still held/hold his music so dear. "Timeless" is the only way I can describe it. To this day, I can't pick up a guitar without playing a Little Wings song. Thx for the influence, Kyle. You have no idea...
I played tambourines with Kyle in Savannah Ga. back in 2004 with Calvin Johnson. He Tried to trade some vinyl for this monkey shirt I had on, but couldn't do it. I love and still love that money shirt.
Aw man! I saw this in 2004 and it's what introduced me to Little Wings, been in love with the music ever since. Great to see this again, thanks for uploading it!
+HDHyperDriveReviews2K15 Check out Wise Old Little Boy if you haven't already, it's him and Phil Elverum (The Microphones) doing a small tour together, it's got loads of cool live footage!
I don't know who Kyle Field is. I was watching Feist and randomly found this. Ilike how this was filmed and the dialouge is very genuine, very interested now. I ove how I happenstance upon things.
I have watched this mini-documentary... so much. For Kyle Field fans this is supa rare and sacred.
