That's the problem with Caleb Love in these types of games . He starts to play hero ball and starts throwing up shot after shot, and they're bad shots, too. Dude needs to have better shot selection and look for his teammates, too

I love scheduling big nonconference games, but game after game seems a bit much. Those are for the schools that play in bad small conferences. Gonzaga. Arizona hS a grueling pac schedule ahead.

I'm not a coach. But I think Arizona should stop trying to double when the ball goes inside. Leaves the spot up three shooter wide open. And the defensive rotation is terrible. Good game FAU. But Arizona will bounce back.

They all shot poorly, the issue is college basketball is poorly spaced. You have atleast 4 people clogging the paint at all times and refs lets the defense be extremely physically. Love role is to create offense and take tough shots

@@JpGreen-wq9ws College basketball is much more fun to watch because 1) the players seem to try harder, 2) they actually play defense in college. The NBA needs to go back to 90s rules. The NBA has become just a 3-point shooting practice. The 90s was more rugged. Defense was as important to the game as offense. 90s and even 00s were more fun to watch.

super embarassing for arizona to lose to a team like that, dominated for long stretches but just kept letting them back into it, but the little teams sometimes can do that. but most the top teams have already been upset by bad teams similarly to this so it isnt too noteworthy I suppose.
How is that super embarrassing? FAU is a solid team, there run last year wasn't a fluke. There guard play is amazing, and they're very well coached. To even say "FAU" is a 'bad team' ("Teams have already been upset by bad teams", which makes it appear as if your saying FAU is a bad team) is ridiculous. Sure FAU is in a 'weaker' conference, you can be a fan of one team and still point out that another team is good. I still think Arizona is the better team in terms of talent, but FAU was just better, plain and simple.

FAU has great guards and can make a run again in March. The teams with great guards will win championships. Arizona does not have great guards, yet. I like Lewis and Bradley, they have a lot of potential. Boswell can be great, but currently he is one dimensional on offense. Love is a great player. Sometimes he passes instead of taking the shot or takes the shot instead of passing. He just needs to make better decisions. Tommy needs to do a better job. When you take a 14 point lead with the talent he has on the team, they should not lose the game, period.
