Hi, I had an issue with my snowblower it’s a 10hp tecumseh engine and I recently replaced the Governor gear on it because the fly weights broke off. I got a new gear and assembled it and when I tried it the snowblower still revved to the extreme. I will try this and see if this will work because when I set my linkages and Governor arm I set it at idle. Do you think that this would make the difference? Thanks

Yes you have to set it at full throttle otherwise your basically setting your max rpm as your idle settings
