This is when we found out Siyeon (front and center in the ending formation) is so cool she can mess up the last choreography on national TV and everyone likes her version better 😄.
"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things). It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way. So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace. By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well. Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!
dreamcatcher \:D/ vision is part 2 of their apocalypse trilogy and is essentially an anti-war song. the apocalypse trilogy addresses mankind's destructive nature so we can save ourselves 😂 try some more of their b-sides, gives off different vibes - 'red sun'(special clip) or 'and there was no one left'(special clip). no special high budget production, but still has its own unique charm 😉
Vision is my favorite song of the Apocalypse trilogy, but it is the only one that did not win an award show. (Granted they only have 4 wins altogether).
Vision to me was probably the best song from the apocalypse trilogy
Hard to argue that.
Dreamcatcher !!
Dreamcatcher❤
