So this track started out with a simple idea, a really long time ago I basically discovered that if you took a sample that had reverb on it, and just stretched it to be pitched down, and then added MORE reverb it would basically sound really good (I know this sounds really scuffed but ehhh), and basically I always had this idea in the back of my mind, but I had never really managed to come up with anything that really stuck, although I had some really cool ideas none of them really made it to the light, as good as they are, because making a song entirely like this was really difficult, so I've been sitting on ideas like this for over a year.
And so fast forward to pretty recently, as I was getting back into music, I actually ended up making a LOT of things in 2024, but I won't be able to show any of it just yet but stilll, exciting stuff in the future, but that's not the topic, I was just messing around with this, and as I was making some of the really early sounds with the technique I mentioned, except at the time I was also being really inspired by botanica sort of sounds, and my main observation is how SOFT it sounds, it was such a soft, not fluffy but soft sound that was very pleasant to the ear, and I actually really wanted to achieve that in a way, and so I was told I could just use a spectral dynamics plugin, and just set it to a compressor (I still don't really know what this means), but it just made everything a lot less clicky, more soft, and so i went with that as a starting point.
and so the part right after the intro was the first part that was made essentially, and then i found out pianoteq had some really nice glockenspiel, and so it kind of just went with that, then I incorporated parts that were more melodic, and just overall, part of me wanted this to sound really sophisticated in a way, but I also thought that it didn't necessarily need to, at times i feel a bit of anxiety and think to myself, "what if my music is not sophisticated enough", but then I come to realize that whether it is or it isn't, not every song needs to be that way, and so on, and so I deliberately took a simpler direction with the song overall, the chords don't do anything too complicated, the melodies and arrangement aren't really super complex, it's meant to be more of a respite, just something to make the listener more relaxed first and foremost, and just something to be like a break almost, lure you in with the atmosphere, I am unsure how successful I was with this, but I hope everyone listening does enjoy it!!! but yeah the atmosphere was definitely the bigger focus here, but I believe it still has my person astolsko touch.
I think if I had to choose a favorite part it would definitely be around 1:27, although that was definitely the part I put together the fastest, there is just something about how clear that piano is for me, almost like crystal clear, it's a quality I really like

This is pretty intresting. I've never heard this kind of Music before, but it is very calming and interesting. Normally I listen to rappers like travis scott and metro Boomin, but this is a nice branch away from that genre. Very nice. I would love if you made an album
