I feel like a lot of these Buddy shorts have that "it was just a dream ending" I'm pretty sure it's just because the directors often had no idea how to end the short so whatever make it a dream!
This is the same print that went around the old Termite Terrace Trading Post. You see, kids, back in the late 90's/early 2000's, the only way to see some of these cartoons was if somebody had it on tape...digital video was still in its earliest form, and the internet didn't have the server space or bandwidth to support it. So you had to send copies of rare films on tape to one another through the mail. A few people back then had 16mm film prints that they had converted to tape, and for some of the Buddy cartoons, if they hadn't been taped from TV airings, these transfers were the only option. Since VHS loses quality each time it's copied, by the time the 4th or 5th person traded it, this is what it looked like. At the time, everyone had CRT standard def TVs, so the quality didn't really matter. On modern TVs and monitors, though...ouch!

First appearance of acme in a Looney Tunes short
This sounds like it would be an episode of SpongeBob.
For me this is the worst Looney Tunes character
