I know driving one of these in a straight line is hard enough. But keeping it in frame while filming is an achievement that deserves big praise ! Well done 😄👍🏼
It wasn't me driving, so I could concentrate on filming - and even then it was a challenge! Really fun though as it's so different to filming crawlers. And for the record, I couldn't tell if Andrew was trying to drive in a straight line or not... 🤣🤪
@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 Believe me this 2wd is a handful to keep in a straight line, especially on a loose dirt or gravel track. I built one and put a Traxxas 12T brushed motor and XL5 Esc in it from a Slash and it's very fiesty indeed 😃👍🏻
Well, Steve, if all the driving wasn't completely "nailed", the video sure was. Those shots at around 0:56 (just before the rollover) we awesome, it looked like a full sized truck. Great captures and obviously tons of fun. All the best, mate! 😁👌👍
Well, when Andrew is driving it's usually only the tyres that get nailed... 🤪 This is a cool truck and a fair old size, too. I really enjoyed just filming without driving for once - there's definitely no way I could do both with a thing like this! Hats off to you with your driving videos! 👏👍
Awesome video, great filming and looked like great fun. Looks a very cool rig. Keep up the great work. 👍😎
Amazing video filming a basher like this is not easy
🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍😀😀😀🔵🔵🔵
Thanks! You're right, it was quite a challenge! Really fun though as it's so different from filming crawlers... 😎👍
Very cool man. These sure look pretty awesome and the scaleness? Is great!!
Cheers! Andrew knows how to build a good-looking truck. In fact, he builds them like he drives them... slowly, frequently upside down and meandering all over the place. 🤭😎
I'm glad to see another nice slow motion video of this truck. I wish there was more offerings available for truck's just like this, 10 scale crawler size with scale baja suspension and 2wd
Yeah, they're pretty cool things, and this one looks even more impressive in the flesh. The suspension works well too. I particularly enjoyed watching it jump. 😎👍
@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 I bet it does, I'm actually building my own scale truck that's inspired by the "trophy rat"
I'm concidering doing an overview of the finished truck on my own rc channel one day if I can
Hi there and what an awesome truck! Gasped a bit when you flipped it though, but boy, does it look good. Take care and best wishes 😉😊😉
Thanks! It's actually Andrew's truck from A'n'T R/C, and I'm happy to say it was him driving/flipping it as well... he spent ages painting and detailing it. Luckily it seems pretty robust and didn't suffer much for it, as far as I saw. 😎👍
lolol unavailable ) hope that was Andrew driving and not you haha looks amazing with that RWD action
That thing looks awesome and your filming had me wondering how big the thing really is!
Wre you driving and recording, both at once?
My hat goes off to you, sir! I'll need to put it straight back on, I'm afraid, as it covers the bald bit which has inexplicably appeared. But it's the thought that counts.
Ha ha no, your hat is safe! I was only filming, and that was enough of a new challenge even at the speed Andrew drives his trucks... he came over for a visit and basically broke every rig he brought along, though I think we got this running again before he left... 😆🤦♂️ Mind you, I filmed this having just smashed a wheel off my Tamiya Cosworth, so I probably shouldn't take the mickey too much. 😬
@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 Fast-movers are a different challenge to film, aren't they?
If you have no option but to set up a tripod, you've a choice between driving in an elongated oval, largely towards the camera or away from it, or doing a pass across its field of view, shifting it, doing another pass, etc.
If someone else is driving, the challenge lies more in anticipating which way they'll go next. Either way, it makes me long for the task of recording a nice slow crawler in action!
What are you using for the rear lights between the tires? Great video and truck!!
@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 is there any brackets you had to add or is there a spot to attach already there? Thinking about getting one and like that set up!
Great Video! Would you recommend this truck?
I would! It's high quality, great shocks and body detail. Don't rush to put a ton of power thru it tho, at least initially. She's a handful. I found stock tyres were too grippy on the edges so flipped her over too easily.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Oh, that's my truck btw. Mr 7.3k views just filmed it AND I'M NOT BITTER 😂😂😂😂
EXCELLENT man that's exactly what happened! It's like you were there.
🤣
