Hey, I have a question: is there a way to change the terrain scale? Each terrain tile is 8m x 8m. That's pretty huge and doesn't allow for more detailed editing. I heard somewhere, that this is tied to some vortex thing and that it is possible to change the grid size? But I can't for the life of me remember where I heard it and I can't find any information about that. Just to be clear, I'm not talking about the general size of the terrain. I'm talking about the resolution of the grid, if that makes sense.
You'll have to elaborate for me to better understand. If I understand you correctly, my answer is that you aren't restricted to working within certain "scales" really. In ZE you can rescale certain values and get pinpoint, detailed effects (detailed enough for a 2005 game). If there is a way to change the reference measurements for scaling, I wouldn't personally know how to do it, sorry.
@@Keldeanne thanks for lending me an ear :) I'm talking about the "Height Editor" in the ZeroEditor. If you change the "Terrain View" at the top center of the screen, to "HEIGHT", you will see the grid of the terrain. The grid is 8 by 8 meters (~26x26 feet). That is a pretty small resolution. The terrain looks all chunky. I want to change that resolution to something else. Something like 2 by 2 meters. I don't know how to explain it better without using screenshots ^^' If you don't know how to do that, do you know any active forum I could ask on? Thanks again for your quick response :)
I have released several mods over the years. I have two publicly released ones available on Moddb and a WIP mod also on Moddb. www.moddb.com/mods/empires-conquest

Anyway you could show how to add sounds? Like for hero music? I wanna add one for Shand!
Unfortunately that'll be down the line.
@@Keldeanne no worries, I found out something of Reddit I’ve yet to try. But still think the video will rock!
Do you have your own mod?
