That will make a nice reference unit your station. If you find a need for better NTP timing, or upgrade to PTP, Bodnar units can do that too -- NTP is probably good enough for your rigs if you do FT8.

Great video! A fellow ham has just bought a SunSDR2 DX. I'm using a much older HPSDR setup with an external 400W amplifier. I use a BG7TBL GPSDO, it's nice to know I am spot on frequency all the time.

    Hey Darren!
Windows principle: you must not every first klick on "Apply", it only serves as an interim takeover. You can also click “OK” directly.
By the way, make sure that the output signal strength on your GPSDO corresponds to that of the SunSDR.
For my satellite converter I use +7.7 dBm (8 mA) and for my RSPduo it is as far as I remember +12.7 dBm (24 mA) with a 50 ohm terminal.
After commissioning, my devices noticeably switch from internal to external PLL. You can then check with a time signal transmitter or the carrier signal from a radio station.

how to get the location and timing information when we use this referenced clock?
