I've always disliked Blake. I think she is rude, unfunny, untalented. But the fact that I instantly believed that Baldoni is a good guy in their situation (a guy I have never heard of before) really makes me feel embarrassed for myself. It is sickening, what Blake had to go through on set. It seems to be so traumatic. No actress deserves to be treated like that. Hope she gets real justice!
I truly wonder why this happened to many people. I have legitimately never watched a single piece of content w Blake Lively besides her making that pie for one of those youtube channels? And i never even heard of Justin Baldoni. I remember seeing the hate she was getting a few months ago but i never paid it mind. I just thought this is so obviously orchestrated like I’ve seen enough celeb drama and gossip to know when something feelings fake and out of proportion. Mark my words, but same thing happened w JLo I’m sure. It’s just too much at once. I think a lot of these are bots and paid actors. PR firms will pay tea channels and creators to react negatively to someone and that’s it takes to stir up shit. My god, if these are all true, im utterly disgusted and feel so bad for BL and the rest of the cast and crew. If BL who has power and a wife to a powerful man in the industry i wonder what he had done to other actors and actresses.
yes! i remember that a lot of people were upset when it was first announced that she got the role, but i’m glad she got it because imagine how much worse it could’ve been if they had casted someone with less status
If BL who has power and a wife to a powerful man in the industry - EXACTLY. To the extent that what you saw WAS THE LIVELY CUT OF THE MOVIE. That's how much power the Reynolds had on that set. And now think... what are the chances of this going down on set the way she presents it? 0
Two things can be true at once. Blake isn’t a great person and she used a movie about DV to launch her hairspray that sucked but Justin sounds like he has serious issues that’s for sure!
She could also be a victim of abuse. As a victim of DV in my high school years, I was very removed emotionally from the idea of DV. I would joke about it, or treat what happened to me as not a big deal. I agree she is very tone death (her wedding is my biggest complaint) but it is very possible that she has emotionally removed herself from the emotional implications of the topic to protect her own brain.
Please stop justifying Justin’s behavior by saying Blake is not a good person either, no one is. What Justin has done is unacceptable and completely vile.
@@alessandrajackson3768Do we know she is a victim of DV? Either way there is no excuse to talk about a serious topic like that publicly. Private is different, but this was public and infront of the cameras. The movie was about DV. She could have spread some awareness instead she promotes her alcohol brand and laughs at the questions. A victim would emphasize and would have supported the other victims which she didn't do in the past.
I believe two things can be true at the same time. Blake lively isn’t everyone’s favorite and has a reputation of being not so nice and Justin is a creep who overstepped boundaries.
The Amber Heard/Johnny Depp trial reminded me to never judge by what you hear, because it’s never black and white. I’m reserving my opinion and judgement for the trial
True. I also wonder if there even will be a trial though or if he will settle… if this is true it sounds like there were many witnesses to a lot of these claims and I find it hard to believe he’d want the bad press from a public trial.
unbelievable that he won an award for protecting and speaking out for women. i know it was revoked, but it's still disturbing he won that award despite acting like this in private
I dont understand why that award exists in the first place LOL rewarding men for doing the bare F minimum. How could u honestly expect narcissistic men not to take advantage of that??
@@Daniela-Christiansonreally you think that working in an environment like that wouldn't be hell? Have you worked in an environment where men talk like that and talk about your body ? Cause no that's hell and inappropriate on every single level.
I'm really glad you did this video laying out more of the details of the complaint. I'm noticing far fewer victim-blaming and dismissive comments compared to the earlier video that was a bit more of a general overview. (Not say that was your fault -- but I'm just glad that with this more detailed video, the victim blamers have less room to maneuver, because the details of the complaint and subpoenaed messages do paint quite a damning picture of Baldoni)
I dont like how blake promoted the movie but im 100% on her side. And he told her to promote it that way also so.... There is VERY rarely ever a "perfect" victim. No one deserves to be treated this way. And the fact that she was eviscerated in the media for speaking up is so disturbing. That guy is evil.
The official statement is that it was Sony who told them to promote the film that way. I believe he disagreed with that angle so he went rogue and did the promotion the way he felt appropriate.
It honestly sounds like Blake experienced, firsthand, the tragic experience of being a victim of sexual harassment coupled with manipulation, gaslighting, verbal, and emotional abuse, and overall what could be considered domestic violence in the workplace. And when two actors are playing lovers, lines get blurred. But on and off set should be a safe space for two professionals to explore these themes without residual damage. From the perspective of a trauma response, gone untreated, it almost makes sense why Blake attempted to downplay the DV theme of the movie throughout the Press tour. One could stand to reason that perhaps Blake was in a state of denial herself after having experienced such gross behavior in what should have been a very safe space for content of that kind of nature. If anyone has experienced domestic violence, then you may be aware of the different stages a person can go through when trying to cope and process such a trauma without professional help. Just a thought.
I would believe this with a lesser known actress. If I were Blake, I would have shut down production. Was Ryan Reynolds not made aware of what was happening? I don't understand why this complaint didn't occur during the movie?
Amber was very specific too and then I saw the trial. On this...the man has zero victims resurfacing (as of yet), while Blake was cool with Allen Woddy and Weinsten even WITH their history. I'll wait.
@@mapletree3434i think you have not read the complaint. Also, i think u are a sucker for Depp. Amber had her flaws but not everything she said was false. The PR against her was heinous. Depp is/was a drunk addict. I cant believe you could be such a sucker for that
@@mapletree3434 Why are you using Amber Heard's case to justify not believing victims? Blake isn't the only one accusing Justin, she's using her power and status to represent other women from the staff that also were harassed... You should read the documents fr.
Imagine if Blake Lively is going through this, a woman who is beautiful, successful, rich, privileged, how hard it is for women that are not as privileged. What you've uploaded is utterly disgusting and well done for her for speaking out.
Exactly other people have to live with it and have no power to make it stop. That's the worst part of this, is people making comments about her speaking up and saying she is lying, do you think the nobody will speak up about their harassment at work after watching what people are saying about her.
Let’s say that she has a shitty character, but that is NOT equal to his actions in the slightest. People have this warped view of the “perfect” victim.
In this case it doesn't apply and I know many people have their own opinions on Gypsy Rose Blanchard, but I always think of this thing she said "nobody's a perfect victim and if I was a perfect victim, I'd be d**d." People are fundamentally flawed, but that doesn't mean we can just turn a blind eye
I can sort of understand why she tanked the marketing for this movie. If I was filming a movie about DV while basically being prostituted by my bosses (the obgyn/ forced naked scenes) I’d be so over it and the movie would be such a joke to me I’d be making light of it too. The movie probably has no meaning to her anymore she’s literally dissociating herself from it.
True but I'm pretty sure she was actually the one following the marketing plan and Baldoni was the one that went rogue and started talking about the DV aspect, something that should have been the major focus of the marketing in the first place but they chose instead to go for the girl power angle which obviously fell flat
@victoriahenkes4173 to my knowledge Blake hasn't been accused of abuse of power with 80 pages of receipts, there's no such thing as a perfect victim and bringing up her bad behaviour is frankly redundant when it has no bearing on the current situation
@@lucygaskin7723 so I try to give her the benefit of the doubt, YOU come along and prove me wrong and then I acknowledge that two things can be true at the same time and you basically still come at me? I have given birth before and I didn't do it naked; I didn't rip my clothes off. You stay clothed for "traditional" style birth. Maybe you'd want to be nude if you were having a water birth but it seems like the scene in question is a traditional style birth. Sure, skin to skin contact for mom and baby is good but that does not require full nudity. Everything I see in this complaint gives me dirtbag vibes from this creep. He was absolutely trying to find a loophole to have his way with Blake and retaliated when it didn't go his way.
I watched a guide for nurses video about birthing in a hospital in Nigeria I think, and the skin to skin contact is very important as the nurse said but the women aren’t fully naked, they just lower the cloth from the top and place the baby on their chest or they would just place the baby on the mom’s belly. But never in these videos were they fully nude.
This whole thing is wild too because the reason she was promoting the movie the way she was with the florals and friends stuff was because she was under contract to do so! And so was Justin but because he co-founded Wayfarer he just switched it because he could do whatever he wanted. She got SO MUCH HATE for the way she promoted the movie but she had no choice. Everything this man did was freaking diabolical and disgusting.
She could had left that very minute he tried any of that suss crap she had her man right there to beat his a$$ if anything it's fricken dead pool for crying out loud... exactly!!! and it just demonstrates the audacity of these men that they will still attack incredibly powerful women in Hollywood, bc they think they can silence them into submission like they do with "regular women" and believe they are above all women. I mean just look at how Brad Pitt, a nobody from the Buttfck of Nowhere, abused and is now attempting to smear Angelina, who comes from one of the wealthiest and most famous families in Hollywood. people who think that power protects women from this reality are sadly mistaken and cannot even begin to recognise how these sick men are.

The photo you showed at 3:56 for Melissa Nathan is actually Stephanie Jones, owner of Jonesworks, where Jennifer Abel worked and was Baldoni’s PR agency. She filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, Abel and Nathan for breach of contract.

It’s never even crossed my mind whether other women did the same or not. Whether or not you’ve given birth- there’s absolutely nothing to gain from and no reason to have an opinion on the fashion a woman is to do so!!!
She handled herself with more kindness and dignity than he should have been allowed. He took advantage of every filming situation, taking the limit of what he was trying to get away with. She stated what was acceptable for her to film. She had a formal meeting to discuss what had been happening and what she felt like was an acceptable compromise. When he lost his mind and brought up a relationship with her dead father and he wanted to have his friend act as the ob-gyn he should have been told no absolutely not under any circumstances. Who gave him the idea that either of these situations would be acceptable, ever!? Have your pal show up to be in that intimate position? Really? That this actor feels like he can just act in such an imperious manner is shocking to me! It sounds like we have stepped back decades in treating women without respect! As a woman I feel like someone should have paid his unwanted attention back by ten. No one has the right to just touch another without consent and understanding. End of discussion. He has proven himself not to be willing to work with his coworkers in an equal manner.
How is one being rude in one interview define who you are? Aren’t we all guilty of being rude or mean at one time in our lives? Isn’t the timing of that “rude” interview video coming out in the time where all this hoopla was happening too convenient? Why so much hate for a woman that is not our friend? Could it be jealousy of a woman who seems to have a good life?
Its many many interviews and socially inept, awkward and dumb are equal descriptions of her heinous behavior at interviews. So obvious she hates the peasants.
Exactly what I’ve been thinking abt this whole situation. It’s so unfair to judge the entirety of someone’s character by an interview they did 10 yrs ago that was only brought to light for the purposes of ruining a woman’s reputation.
Because Blake Lively has been rude repeatedly. She has done mean girl things. You can acknowledge she has done bad things, but also acknowledge she is a victim of Justin Baldoni as well, and that she deserves better. That what he did to her was completely wrong, harassment, and deserving of deep criticism.
Congratulations, finally a normal, fair person who doesn't fight and curse without reason, but fully investigates things and just talks about things. If everyone behaved like this, then the internet would be a normal place. I hope you continue this kind of investigation for a long time, because you have the talent for it! I hope the Baldoni guy gets what he deserves.
This whole situation sounds like a complete nightmare. I cannot even imagine having to write a whole list of complaints to keep someone who is directing you. I think I would be having a breakdown over even having to go into work with him each day. Yikes! There isn't enouught money in the world to have to go through what Blake and the crew had to tolerate.
This was a total Lifetime movie. Felt like it, was acted like it, the scenes were very pg. just oozed lifetime vibes. I cannot believe it made it to theatres. That’s crazy to me.
What’s insane is this movie being about abuse. And he had the audacity to act inappropriate with women on set. And then for him to try and smear Blake’s image which up until that point was viewed the opposite. The public adored her. Her and Ryan were “couple goals” and imo still are. The way he stepped in the help his wife with this situation is beyond admirable. And the fact that the public was so quick to side with the man and attack the woman is so telling of the state of our society. Ppl even attacked her for telling ppl to wear florals when seeing the film . Which is random but doesn’t mean she should be canceled. And now we know she was dealing with so much BS from this man as were others. To the point her husband had to step in and y’all were attacking her. I hope all y’all feel stupid AF for that. It gives impression that Justin just don’t like her. Some people, like Blake are just not very nice by nature, but it’s their character and they can work on themselves and be aware of it. But generally they can do nothing about it it’s just who they are, not very likeable people. But knowing that what you’ll say will hurt someone and still say that on purpose is…evil? Honestly honestly it reminded me SO much of Amber Heard v. Depp when it came out that Blake was a mean girl and everyone immediately turned it into a Blake v. Baldoni discussion. I don’t care for how Blake trivialised DV but that doesn’t mean Baldoni is a king - I fear us women are still drinking the Patriarchal Kool-aid ☹️
I feel like one of the reasons so many people are against her right now is just how much the negative videos about her were pushed on social media. If there had been just one or two videos in passing, I don't believe the hate against her would be as severe as it is now
I think there's more to it. She has been Hollywood royalty for a very long time now, and the general public has a growing appetite for taking celebrities down off their pedestals. It's the way things are going, generally. People these days take great joy in watching a seemingly perfect person who has it all, be humbled.
I would like to point out that this meeting that supposedly took place with everyone and Sony happened, yet Sony would 1,000% know about everything Baldoni supposedly did so Sony would also be liable to Blake lively. However, there is nothing about suing Sony which is very concerning and I think says a lot. I want evidence, not just more accusations with no provable substance or evidence.

Two things can be true at once. Blake isn’t a great person and she used a movie about DV to launch her hairspray that sucked but Justin sounds like he has serious issues that’s for sure!
Or both are just awful people who are destroying each other.

True. I also wonder if there even will be a trial though or if he will settle… if this is true it sounds like there were many witnesses to a lot of these claims and I find it hard to believe he’d want the bad press from a public trial.

Just a thought.
this makes me literally cry; you’re probably so right. i am praying so much for her and her recovery ❤️🩹
I would believe this with a lesser known actress. If I were Blake, I would have shut down production. Was Ryan Reynolds not made aware of what was happening? I don't understand why this complaint didn't occur during the movie?
Yeah, the situation describe here are too specific to not be true.

@ all I can say then is that they both suck at the same time

She handled herself with more kindness and dignity than he should have been allowed. He took advantage of every filming situation, taking the limit of what he was trying to get away with. She stated what was acceptable for her to film. She had a formal meeting to discuss what had been happening and what she felt like was an acceptable compromise. When he lost his mind and brought up a relationship with her dead father and he wanted to have his friend act as the ob-gyn he should have been told no absolutely not under any circumstances. Who gave him the idea that either of these situations would be acceptable, ever!? Have your pal show up to be in that intimate position? Really? I'm no fan of Blake but if this guy even did half of what is alleged is he a frrrreak 👀
As someone who is majoring in film and television, this is super alarming in the industry. I really hope she gets her justice
Omg I honestly think they are both awful but jeez… he’s a creep.
ten years ago she was rude in an interview whilst pregnant...
did a tone deaf pr tour (based on the stipulations in a contract set out by sony)
but she's awful? as if every celebrity hasn't done smth equal mean (or worse) before or conceited?
@@tzxyuaesthetics9338 pleas stop spamming this. If you’re unclear of how much you’ve missed, which is considerable, just look up Sloan Hooks videos done with evidence of her behaviors. With that said, she doesn’t deserve what she went through on set. Just stick to that.
Stop fake accusing men for god sake
No he’s not no proof whatsoever
@@clashersshekdid you watch the video?
And y’all were so quick to be so mad at her for ANYTHING.
Exactly! Finally people are starting to see what has been happening!
Because she’s a mean girl who can do whatever even accuse men for fake cases
@@kristinotten8802what? He didn’t SA her it would be more believable if she did it to him
Nope, just her not so great treatment of others
People don’t support women and want them to be the bad guy so bad
7:24 the "biting" during kissing hits home for me. My narc abusive ex used to make my life a living hell with the abuse cycle of love bombing and then degrading me. but once i rmr he bit my lip SUPER hard during kissing with 0 warning. its like a weird mind game narcs must do
I am reserving judgement and I'm still very curious to hear his response. There was another element to this story about Justin's now former publicist illegally leaking the text messages out of context. Plus she is married to the head of William Morris, they also rep Ryan&Blake. It is one big messy conflict of interest. Spilly, I think you should mention the very dubious issues in your videos. This story is far from black&white.
I hate how people wanna say they’re “equally bad” because of her interview like i’m sorry but let’s NOT compare instances of her being bratty in an interview to him sexually harassing people and being inappropriate to the point the WHOLE cast unfollowed him. there’s no such thing as a perfect victim we can hold her accountable and acknowledge the fact that he’s done those disgusting things at the same time.
Whats really ironic is that Justin is (allegedly) exactly like the kind of men Colleen writes about 😂😂
people saying stuff like “yeah she’s untalented and unfunny and i despise her but that doesn’t mean she deserves this” i feel like the first part isn’t really relevant here damn 😭
Literally why do so many comments have to start out with “she’s awful and horrible BUT”…. Like there shouldn’t be the need for the “but” in the sentence 😭
Blake turning rude towards Kjersti during the "congrats on your baby bump" revealed how overly sensitive she can be. Blake's quick mean girl pay back & ruining Kjersti interview shows just how vindictive Blake can be. Blake pushing her brands on us during the promotion of the movie and her insensitive "location share" comment show her true nature & greed. Sorry, just not quick to believe her because she is a woman. She does not have the character or moral fiber for me to be convinced that she is above lying or twisting the events to fit her narrative. I am waiting to hear Baldoni present his recollection of events and defend his actions before siding with Ms. Lively and referring to her as the victim. She just gives me Amber Heard vibes. Just Saying.
I find the timing of these sudden claims sus. Why didn’t she bring this up prior to the movie release? Why didn’t she quit? It makes no sense.
I believe these were filed a while ago and now they’re public
JD and AH has made me choose not sides until it goes to trial. Whatever Amber said i had believed it until you watch the trial.
Depp and Heard were both abusive which is why she won the other trials
@@StealingSunsets No, Depp never hurt her, but she did.
Depp was ruled against in the UK. only believing the results of the US case is naive and misguided.
I think we have to remember though these people are actors. You just never know if this is all a publicity stunt. I know as sick as that could be. I don’t trust any of them.
Holy fire truck 9:23
She said “If I’m going down, you’re going down with me”. Good for her I guess
I personally and professionally have experience with domestic violence. His behaviour shows signs of an abuser. Repeatedly, Physically and sexually violating women, using tactics to damage self-esteem, bringing up vulnerable moments such as mourning a parent. Power and control as a director with producers. Jail worthy offences. He thought he could pretend to be a hero. But the truth exposed him. He is a clear example of what horror hides behind closed doors, behind lies and manipulation, where the real victim/survivor is silenced. I'm proud of everyone who comes forward to speak the truth.
I just know that it would make me call it all off no matter the cost. Why keep working with a person you dislike, it’s a question to both of them…
at first i would agree. but when i watched how he basically assaulted her during the filming and pressured her to film nude, with his bf there n having the cochairman there. like man u cant tell me thats a coincidence
If it’s true, he’s dumb for blowing his big break
it doesn't matter that she's a terrible actress either
Imagine having to tell your boss/coworker to “please stop having a conversational relationship with your deceased father”…
That being said I’ve seen and heard Blake be an absolutely insufferable muppet at times too 😬
I mean, if all of her complaints are real then he is a CRAZY person. So why would he be hired in the first place? I don't know, something feels off. Let's not judge yet.
He owns the company that produced the movie and bought the filming rights
@@rotted2023 Yeah ok, but A LOT of people could walk away. I'm not convinced yet.
Funny how everyone wanted to cancel her 2 weeks ago. Smfh
She is a great actress to be able to complete this movie while going thru such hostility
I don't belive her at all.
If that complaint is true, I don’t understand why that man wouldn’t have been fired!
He was the owner to the rights of the movie so he can’t get fired
I would like to point out that this meeting that supposedly took place with everyone and Sony happened, yet Sony would 1,000% know about everything Baldoni supposedly did so Sony would also be liable to Blake lively. However, there is nothing about suing Sony which is very concerning and I think says a lot. I want evidence, not just more accusations with no provable substance or evidence.
Somebody can be a shit person still a victim of sexual harassment and assault. Assault is not a popularity contest.
what i dont really understand.. is that ( not blaming blake or anything like that) but couldn't she stop making the movie if she was this uncomfortable? or talked to other people in charge fo the movie?
WOAH! The birth thing is insane, where he said woman are naked during giving birth.
Nah, I could admit I was wrong about Justin he's a complete creep. But I honestly still don't like Blake. But she needs to sue that weirdo.
Did you people read the part in the complaint where Baldoni shares how he did stuff without consent…. 🚩
Ok so yall don’t like Blake bc shes a mean girl which therefore makes her an awful person which means she deserves all of this or means she’s lying? I am sickkkk of yall
misogyny is live and well, unfortunately
The way that she's married to Deadpool and this man still has a face that is not punched in by him has me like, "He wouldn't have just let this happen"
Saging and speaking to the dead.. wat exactly is his religion 😳
