Your video helped me to troubleshoot a ventilation control panel that was incorrectly installed in my house. I had narrowed it down to thinking it was an issue with the R/C wires. The jumper for each within the unit you show did the trick. Of course this isn't in the wiring diagrams! Thanks!
Thanks for the helpful video! Would you be able to go one step further and explain how to wire the W8150's remote terminals to a compatible thermostat's U terminals so the thermostat app settings/ventilation function can act as the "remote"? Is it a simple 1:1 - remote 1 to U1, remote 2 to U2? Can a stand-alone compatible thermostat be used if original builder tstat wiring count is insufficient to use existing thermostats?
This video solved an installation issue with my Honeywell system. My HVAC tech couldn't figure out what's wrong in that it wouldn't power on. The instructions don't really go over the "C" and "R" positions unless you look at the fine table--these MUST be used in order to power the controller. The question is how to you do it. I did the jumper method as shown in and everything works correctly. Honeywell could do better with their instructions.
Great video. My AC system has the same damper and connections, the ventilation was set to ON till now. I got the humidity problem in the house at Houston, Texas. Do you think I have to set it to OFF position? I found the damper will be turn on when the AC works. I expect this switch can be set on the Honeywell Lyric T6 settings, however I can’t find the Ventilation option on the T6(UA-cam has this settings video), do you know why? Thank you very much.
Thanks for your hvac tip. Saved me alot of time.

good stuff. i like the part you explain multizone equipment control using thermostat terminals comparison.

If it sets up to OFF position, I have to change the airflow settings to lowest for the high humidity area, right!
How does this work if the thermostat is wired to the terminal on the furnace . What about the transformer , how do we install it
My (Ion touchscreen) thermostat only has 4 terminals do i need to replace the t-stat to work with the w8150
