ten years ago this mans music saved my life. when i was at the end of my rope i was looking for any reason not to do it. so i looked through some pictures in an old shoe box i had. and i found a gold CD with a note with it that said. " Kitaro, i hope you like it. his music is not for everyone so i hope you enjoy his music as much as i do." so i listened to the CD is was Kitaro's original Silk road album. because of him im still here and it even led me to thank him in person a couple of years ago in California during his Kojiki and the universe concert back stage. His music is truly an inspiration because he never was and never shal be a sell out

This music makes me remember a place I had never been before, a place beyond my imagination, to a place covered in vibrant colors with trees so tall, dark and green crowding round the soaring mountain that splits the heavens into two. To the far distance is a perpetual storm, but here is a calm land, a place of perpetual peace. It is paradise to my eyes and my ears, because there is no better place than this. I wish it was true, I wish this world wasn't so dark and dreary....

Most music like this is a celebration of LIFE. I don't hear it to be ethnic or geographical. Can't we simply love it for its beauty and let it sooth the soul of the hidden savage beast. (I'm not taling about you,specifically) To many haters in this world.

It is a SPIRIT, a golden thread woven through this land, that never really 'left',but waited with KNOWING.
