Awesome, this is great info. Its not gonna last a month!!! 2.5 weeks tops. I wanna drink and cook with it!! update: Got box of red, and box of white. good bye beer gut, and shut the front door liver🍷🤣👍
Love your video. Used to drink two Mikes Hard Cranberry a day. I now have a gut from all the sugars. Drinking wine is alleviating my gut. Love the way you drink it out of the plastic bag. I do that when I’m at the end to get it all out.
The bag in box wine is really cheap. This one worked out to be $2.46/bottle. You'll have to let me know which box wine you try. You'll have more options than I have here in Italy.
I gotta say, I'm impressed by the number of producers of box wine. I had Provisions' Red Blend and I gotta say- I was a fan. I had never really stopped to consider how plastic is somewhat permeable! Good thing those don't last very long once I open them...
Didn't realize these boxes expire! I had my "favorite" boxed wine recently and was surprised i really didn't like it. Makes sense that it may have already gone bad, remembering it was making use of its previous logo/packaging
@@EricZeak you'd think that after all the trouble that they go through in carefully labelling and going through the IGT's, DOC's, and what-nots, they wouldn't miss out on something as simple as an expiration date. but then again i guess expiration dates go against the conventional wisdom on wine and these regulating bodies aren't set up for regulating boxed wine 😅
Great question. I don't have the box anymore, and I can't remember exactly, but I think there was a production date and best before date somewhere on the back or bottom of the box.
Where do you even find the expiration date? I just see some odd numbers at the bottom.

Definitely good for cooking, and for sure wine is better for the gut. Beer is too filling.
Definitely a win win. Drinking a lot less, and cooking more with it lol🍻

I have never bought box wine before. I plan to buy some soon. Like the idea how it is cheaper than bottles.

@@EricZeak Also, Pam and I have had "Day Drinking" canned wine. It was good.
Nice! I have a special project planned to do a whole video on wine packaging.
VELLA the best wine i ever had

Exactly! You don't have to worry about a time issue if the wine is good!
My favorite grocery store wine brand is yellow tail, and yes I have tried box wine. The box wine brand I tried is fish eye
I've had Yellow Tail but I've never tried Fish Eye. Where did you get it at?
@@EricZeak Albertsons/ Safeway. You can also get it at rid aid

Right!? The store I got it from didn't know either. But yeah, boxed wine is not very good for aging.

Maybe boxed wine regulations will be the next big thing
For Vella to go bad that means it had to be good at some point
Haha. Absolutely true for any wine.
Franzia for the win!
Cardbordeaux is an excellent choice!
@@EricZeakdrinking my single glass of Franzia even as I type. Longest I've kept an opened box of Franzia is just over 2 years. Still fine.
Not a bad video, but where is the expiration date on the Vella box wine?

Can this be done for MD 20-20?
That would be fun to try
My god. You are a beautiful man 🤔
