I think the actress who play Cris suffers from facial flushing. Which you have no control over! I suffer with this problem and is quite difficult to live with, can be very embarrassing and can be extremely hard on young people that experience it. I am a grown adult and lived with this my entire life but, was kinda happy to see a character on a show that I can relate to in more ways than one.
I agree. It can be awful because you can never mask your feelings, even the mild emotions that other people can easily hide, there they are in bright pink all over your face! I found it very tough as a kid and sometimes as an adult too.

I’ve never watched something that touched my soul so deeply. Their love is very similar to what I had with my recently passed fiancé. Without the personality disorder, the love Cris and Joana have and share for one another is exactly how my fiancé and I were together.. watching this brings back beautiful but painful memories that mean the world to me.
