That Queen greatest hits vinyl you showed is their best selling album. It originally came out in the 1981 when The Game was new at the time. Hence why there’s nothing from the late 80’s and 90’s. It’s one of the best selling albums in the UK. Overall, a solid compilation! 😄
PS: Even though I don’t mind Body Language, even I’m like, what’s that doing on a “Best of” CD! 😂

@@BryersMusicShowcase ok that explains a lot. So it sounds like I made the right choice.

Lovely video Jason. Always enjoy seeing what you pick up. Crazy that bohemian rhapsody wouldnt be on a greatest hits.

I bought that greatest hits by Queen on CD in the 80s and it has a totally different set of songs. I think they just liked that picture. The Flash Gordon movie was pretty bad but I do like the song it’s my favorite queen song. That was nice of your mom to buy you all those old albums.

@@MN-ug1bh yeah the song Flash is catchy but the album is the weakest of the Queen discography. Yeah that was nice of my mom.

I'm guessing the "Spokane" on those albums indicate they were recorded in Spokane, where Crosby grew up and went to college (Gonzaga).

@@dcmphotog8452 yeah that’s what I was thinking. I don’t know where Bing Crosby is from but I know he went to Gonzaga.

Guess what Jason… I’ve seen Hidalgo and I agree, it’s a good movie that doesn’t really get talked about 🙂
I’ve heard of Glen Miller also, having worked in a music shop so some of the older artists you mentioned I know about!

    50 records for $50, now that’s a bargain!
Rich Strickler got me that Bob Segar compilation but on vinyl, I agree that he has a great voice. That Neil Diamond All-Time Greatest Hits is my favourite compilation, you’ll love it!
I have the Queen Greatest Hits on vinyl, definitely a record that everyone should have in their collection!

@@whatthejim ok good to know that these are good compilation albums. I’ve found out recently that not all compilation albums are equal.

Never liked Shirley Temple movies, but she did marry (briefly) one of my favorite B-movie actors, John Agar. What About Bob is a great comedy! I have that in my collection, too. I actually like Glenn Miller is small doses. Neil Diamond gets some grief, but he was a great pop song writer. The Boat that I Row is a favorite. 48 Bing Crosby records? Someone was a real fan! Some fun pickups, Jason!

@@MarkMorris-1962 yeah I haven’t seen a Shirley Temple movie since I was a kid. I doubt it holds up too good. Now I probably have one of the biggest Bing Crosby collections.

Tons of stuff here. Yeah I have issues going into a store and not buying something but, I try to remain strong lol. What about Bob is a good movie.
