They are literally labeled as a heavy metal, speed metal, power metal, progressive metal, symphonic metal band.

    What makes 2000's Seo Taiji so distinctive from other Nu Metal bands is his voice. His voice is nothing like traditional metal vocalists. Very unique, sharp, and incredibly harmonizes well with the instrumentals.

    i wish im 17-20yo in 00s... but i was only 10 and didnt realise if numetal style really trend [ dread hair,baggy pants etc] and the music really big that day in asia.....i only know some limpbizkit , linkinpark n slipknot song and didnt care about style lol then when im teenager nu metal is dead asf ,everyone with emo style so am i , bmth so big influence that day in 2008 but now im in the mood with nu metal again but i think im too old with the style lol

      Basically yes, but when the frontman of this band was in an early k-pop group (seotaiji and boys) in 90s, he often did rap music on heavy metal riffs (linked below). Maybe that kind of interest finally brought him to nu metal.

      퇴보한다기보다는 장르의 다양성이 사라졌다고 보는 게 맞을 것 같네요.
      힙합이나 아이돌음악으로서는 이때보단 훨씬 나아졌으니...저당시 서태지 음악을 제외하고 대중가요 들어보면 다 똑같은 리듬에 똑같은 패턴;;;복붙수준임. 동요인줄..
      다만 지금은 진보되긴 했으나 힙합과 댄스로만 고착화되고 나머지는 다 죽어버리니까 퇴보한 것처럼 느껴지는 것 같네요.
      지금도 인디밴드에서 신선한 그룹들 꽤 나오는 데 인지도를 얻기가 힘들죠.

Bts jungkook's father are seo taiji's friend. Seo taiji also invited bts to his 25 anniversary to perform with him. Seo taiji even called bts as his sons. And they have same producer. Seo taiji also asked bts to remake his songs come back home.

      Every Nu Metal band had very similar stage mannerisms. To say that they're just taking mannerisms from Korn is kinda false, I see alot of Linkin Park and Deftones inspiration in there
