Just Another Bag Lover yes it is..i saw it in person but the chains are a lil heavy for me. It’s not a heavy bag but as I age I find myself wanting to carry extra light bags. Of course, I find the reissues to be on the heavy side, but im still keeping those! In general we have similar taste in bags.

Hi! How is edge wear on this back made out of lambskin after 1 year? Do you experience leather peeling on the corners/wdge?
There is def a little more corner wear! I am planning on doing an updated wear and tear on this in the next month or so!
I’m really thinking of getting a Niki Baby in lambskin. I’m just a little hesitant because I’ve heard many downsides of lambskin, namely the scuffing and scratches and wear around the corners. How is your bag holding up? I love the gorge colour of your Niki btw.
Thank you! This season's color is what really got me to pull the trigger on this bag. I've only had it a few weeks but it's held up very well so far! I will do a wear and tear video - I just want to wait another few weeks and use the bag more before doing a video on it, so stay tuned! :)

Thank you for this video. I've been looking for a new medium size bag that doesn't look like a "mom" bag. I'm past that point in life, but I need space in my bag and many of the other styles I have looked at are too small. This looks like the perfect bag for me. You have a new subbie.

You got me sold on the niki! I love the color! I'm a bit nervous buying lighter-colored bags - do you do anything to protect your bag (or any bags in general) at all? Like with spray protectors, etc.? Thank you and love the video!
Thank you so much for watching! I really love this bag - the style and functionality are just so great! So I was a bit nervous because the only light colored bags I have are for fancier occasions. I have sprayed Carbon Pro on my Iridescent Beige Chanel bags and have had no issues with color transfer so far. For this Niki bag, I haven't sprayed anything on it yet, but that's because I wear it mostly on the shoulder. I think if I were to wear it crossbody with dark denim, I would definitely want to treat the leather first! But you're right, I am a little bit nervous about color transfer (forgot to mention that part in the video). I will likely treat it with Carbon Pro at some point, but haven't yet.

@@654ujala Yes, I sprayed my WOC with the Carbon Pro since I wear that one crossbody style (I did one very light spray, just on the back). But I'm also pretty careful with that bag because I'm obsessed with that color! :) Since it's a smaller bag it's easier to be careful with it.

I really can’t get over how beautiful it is and am glad I finally got my hands on it! I must confess...I watched your video several times and ended up selling my black caviar woc with ghw to purchase this one. The black, though classic, just didn’t feel special. This truly is a unicorn bag!

Yes! Especially with the pockets and organization. I actually ended up selling the puffer (there's a video a few months ago about it) but still have the Niki! I think the Niki is a perfect everyday bag
Hii, is the ysl logo painted metal?
I'm not 100% sure. To me, it feels like it could be metal but I couldn't find any information on that.

this is beautiful. It seems the V line stitches on the lambskin are almost blended in and you can’t see it obviously vs other niki on calf skin. Do you share the same view? Would you be able to post a closer look photo of the bag?
Agree - I think this is because the color is matte and not shiny. I am doing a wear and tear video in a few weeks! Will insert more detailed photos then. :) Stay tuned!

Ohmygosh that's SUCH a hard question! Haha. I really love both especially because I think they each bring versatility - I just LOVE the functionality of the Niki (the compartments and back pocket are so great) but I think based on wear & tear and the overall 'look' of the Loulou Puffer, I would lean more towards that one. It's lightweight for an all leather bag and I just adore the matte/sheen of the bag and am very impressed at the wear and tear of it. But I'm very happy to have both bags and don't see myself parting ways with either of them anytime soon!
Great review! May I ask, is niki bag comfortable to wear everyday? I am lookong for a casual bag, I cant decide between niki bag and balenciaga mini city? Wondering the chain is too heavy..Thx!
Hi! The Niki I have is in the size medium which I LOVE as an everyday bag. For me personally the chain isn't super heavy (but I also wouldn't categorize it as light, if that makes sense). The Niki bag alone isn't heavy but if it's FULL (and because of the pockets and layout you could really pack it in if you wanted to) then it gets heavy, esp after all day use. I do have the Balenciaga City but in the small size (not mini), and I will usually wear that crossbody. My Balenciaga doesn't fit as much as my Niki bag, so I guess it depends on how much you like to carry around for a casual everyday bag. (Maybe the regular size City Bag is more comparable to the Niki Medium....)To be honest, I don't think you can go wrong with either bag! I love them both. If I had to choose 1 bag for 'casual/everyday' I would choose the Niki. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any questions!

How heavy is the Niki compared to the Lou Lou please?
Hi! I'm sorry I saw your question so late. I do not have a scale to measure the bags alone, but just by feel I think the Lou Lou Puffer is lighter. I think this is due to the chains - they feel a bit more substantial on the Niki bag for some reason. That being said, it's pretty close! There isn't a huge difference between the two but I would say the Loulou is a little bit lighter. Hope that helps!

Does the leather on your Niki bag scratches easily?
I've only had it for a few weeks but so far, no scratches. I don't think it will. The leather seems pretty durable! I'll do an updated wear/tear on the bag in a few months!

Thank you! I love it so much! It's not very heavy but I don't know the exact weight because I don't own a scale. But I don't find it heavy at all. However, it CAN fit a lot for a bag of it's size so if it's stuffed full then I think it's a bit heavy.

Ohmygosh, that's such a hard question! I think personally I would lean towards the Niki because I like to carry my bags on the shoulder with the straps doubled up. I think the Niki (in the medium size) can also fit more so it's a great everyday errands bag. I also think the opening (magnetic closure) is easier on the Niki (on the PM it's the S Lock which can be a bit finicky sometimes). Thank you for the very thoughtful question! I really had to think about it for a bit.
Just Another Bag Lover thanks for your reply! It’s my birthday coming up and I am so so torn between both these bags! One day i am sold on PM and the next day it’s Nikki! I completely agree on the utility of Nikki, it seems such a durable bag and for someone like me who carries a lot in her bag it seems perfect but then I feel nothing beats LV and lean towards PM! Then I feel I will buy one this year and the other one next year and considering the exorbitant price increase on LV it’s better to secure LV now and Nikki later. Anyway it’s such a conflict! Is the Nikki bag heavy?
No, I don't find it to be heavy. But it can hold a lot, so if you have it fully stuffed and carry it around all day then it can feel heavy.

I bought and returned this bag in calfskin because when the bag had my stuff in it, the top sort of caved in in the middle (above the logo). It drove me crazy!!! It doesn’t look like yours does this. Have you had any trouble with it caving in on top? Maybe it’s the lambskin?
I think I know what you're talking about but it doesn't seem to do that on my bag (too much at least). Could be the lambskin or just the items in the bag? 🤔 I definitely have some wear on my bag but the structure is mostly in tact.
