Exactly! She makes my day better, too. I have no idea why I never heard of her before recently, and I grudgingly give YT credit that they recommended her at all. BEST recommendation EVER from YT. I would prefer to give that credit to someone I actually like, but no one I know has heard of her, either. She might have gotten a few new fans in the last 6 weeks or so.
@@shadodragonette she's done many appearances on game shows and panel shows like QI youtube them up. There is a lot of her stand up and panel show appearances free on here. 8 out of ten cats occasionally too.

the first time I experienced Sarah Millican it was as if I was given a personal angel. the sweetest kindest person, with a lovely lilting voice and the filthiest vocabulary. Joy. Joy is what I get when I see Sarah on Screen. I'll take it. this world has little to offer, here's some.

I have been a massive fan of hers for a good few years now, and I have seen her 5 times now.

im from a shithole backwater place called North Wales, and I have seen her last, in a Town Called LLANDUDNO. I live in LLaandudno Junction, which is about 3 miles away, so that was nice and easy to get to! - but I also seen her in other places, and she is well worth the travel. I cannot wait till she is semi-local again cos We have a minibus ready and were going as a group ( providing we can book 12 tickets together )
@@FatRakoon I'm in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. Far, far away from anywhere she would likely go. I must live vicariously through you guys. For an idea, most UK folk know Texas and that it is 3 times the size of the UK. Alaska has room for all of the UK seven times over with room to spare. We also have less than 800k people living here. So, no, I don't see Sarah coming to visit us.
she has a way of adressing and poking fun at all the little and large insecurities. and she also adresses and pokes fun at the awkwardness with wich she does it. always makes me feel better.. yea, talking about mental health and insecurities and not quite knowing wich hole the tampon goes in... is awkward. and even cringeworthy... but we can laugh about it. and in a benevolent way. laughting together, with eachother, not at eachother. and it makes me feel better. so if brief awkwardness is the price for feeling better... that's ok. that's good value.

This one seemed to have so many notable pauses in a way her stuff doesn't, ordinarily. Coming to the comments I figured out that I'm just used to hearing the pauses filled in with audience laughter, and in this case the audience was (apparently) badly micd.

Sarah Milligan is a comedy genius. However this performance compared to others was different and I can't be sure what it was about the content and delivery or pace.....it was wasn't Sarah at her best.

For my fellow Americans who think this is slow, understand standup comedians in the rest of the world aren't trying to increase their "laughs per minute"... in the UK they speak more slowly and tell stories in a more reasonably paced manner. In the US comedians have to hit hard and fast because we, as Americans, have very little patience. Millican is brilliant and a fox.
