@@Sh-hg8kf I think the MegaMan X soundtrack would not be a good example. Due to the dystopia / futuristic atmosphere, they may have chosen to use synthesized guitars, which is closer to the Japanese view. Incidentally, MMX3 has a badass soundtrack with more natural guitars. Do you agree?

All this game was missing was The Mob Rules from spiderman Maximum Carnage! If i had the knowhow, I’d make a mod of this game, but I’d implement a system to let people import midi files into the games code, and insert their own chip tunes into the game.

Yeah, RRR and the Dazed and Confused soundtrack were my gateway to 70s rock. Both hit in 1993 also.
