Seymour is just precious! My heart melted when you called him and he came right to you. That right there shows how much he loves and trusts you! My oldest guinea pig, Wilbur, follows me everywhere and it's just the greatest feeling!
It really is cute when he comes when called. Unless he knows I want him for clipping his nails, somehow then he knows I want to get him and never will come!
I have only just begun to watch your wonderful videos and I have been inspired by the unconditional love you show your little piggies. Watching how you handle your animals has made me rethink how I treat mine. mostly I have started to socialize them more so that they aren't lonely or scared. Thank you very much!

I like that you're teaching patience, and in the case of your bunny, that's in years. A family member of mine was instantly frustrated at how skittish guinea pigs are when they would go to touch them; definitely a dog person with no understanding of other creatures! I managed to train my girls to come running to the side of the cage at a kissing sound and now when this family member visits, they're always happily surprised when the girls come running from their pigloos and stand on the sides of the cage expectantly. Kissing sound=carrot! :)
Yes, small prey pets take lots of time and patience, but always is so worth it :)

Such cute fleeces.!! I've been looking for Halloween fleece at my local stores but couldn't find any, I'll have to look online 😊 lol I've always thought the white around Seymour's eyes was his eyes. I thought he had really wide open excited eyes until right now when you did a close up and I noticed it was just his skin 😂

Hey, I adore your videos. Growing up I have loved Guinea pigs but due to my parents being against pets haven't been able to explore my passion for them further than seeing others, recently moving out I found that I could finally have a few of my own and despite me knowing the basics I wanted to know everything and make sure I was over 'knowledgable' on the subject of keeping them, cage sizes, food, hay and much more and watched all your videos amongst other research, I feel you have helped me so much in knowing much more and making sure to make so many less mistakes as I could have done if I didn't and I want to thank you so much! I went on to make my own C&C cage, a 2x6 for my two boys who I got in September and they are VERY happy piggies and I feel like It's all thanks to you. Thank you for being an inspiration, my favorite to watch. Keep up the amazing work. c:

I think my Guinea Pigs (2) want to have more space in their cage (My cage meets the standard) but I can't really expand it because my room is small. I do floor time with them every day but only when they are showing that they want to run around in my room, surprisingly I rearly can find any poops on my carpet. I don't know what to do, Should I expand their cage and have less space in my room or leave it like it is and still do floor time. Btw my Piggies are 9 months old.

Hi I wanted to leave a comment awhile ago about berry and what you said in the video about handfeeding and experiences of it, I have gone through a very similar thing so many times with my guinea pigs I have even lost count now even a family member has with her guinea pig, I have now lost all my original guinea pigs through the lack of hand feeding, I really don't understand it I've tried lots of different exotic vets that are meant to know a lot about guinea pigs and it seems to me they don't know how important it is to keep the hand feeding going every 2-3 hours, we as owners start hand feeding as soon as we notice our little one are not eating and keep it up every 2-3 hours and then as soon as you take them to the vets to try to fix the problem that caused them to stop eating, it then all goes wrong and down hill from that point on, I know that in every case I have had and my family member has had it has always been a lack of hand feeding that has killed them. I have lost faith in all vets now which is not a good place to be when your little ones need a vet and you can't sort the problem yourself the whole situation makes me angry and upset. so sorry again for your loss of Barry again, I have just lost my last original little one trough the above subject which nearly happened two years ago again same thing but I managed to save her not the vets any way that's a long story and history now we also lost one of my friends guinea pigs we was looking after at the time because she was on holiday, and the one got sick stop I was quick started hand feeding then soon as you go to the vets they say we have to run tests and keep them in and then what do you now the little one always comes back in a worse state and always lost weight from when they went in and it's to late to save them. I asked the vets how much they feed them and they say just 3 times a day and I say you need to feed every 2-3 hours, no vets ever do that they are all the same I just don't trust them now, I really hate it when a guinea pig has to stay at the vets because you can't help them you can pretty much wave your guinea pig good bye or they come back much worse and most likely die because their organs are starting to shut down and they have lost to much weight and you can't help them yourself with the handfeeding. I'm sorry it's such a long comment it wasn't ment to be this long I just had to say what I have experienced and make you understand it hasn't just happened to you but also me and other people to as well trying to educat other people about what goes on at vets and with the hopes it will stop it happeing again in the future. Well thats the hope, fingers crossed, sorry again about berry.

Abby. I need help. Grover, my skinny pig just does like an hour ago. I brought him to the vet and they basically said they can't do anything but put thin down. I'm stuck. I only had him for 2 months. He wasn't even a year old. How do you cope I can't do this. He was the only thing that made me happy. Now his girlfriend is all alone. I don't know what to do. I'm just holding him in his box wondering how I didn't know. He was so young. Apparently the adoption center gave him to me sick. I really need help. Your the only one who understands. Everyone else just says its just a pig or this or that but he was my life.

I don't really understand your situation. You will have to explain things clearly.
As far as I knew, you still don't have a large cage for your guinea pigs, so I am not sure why you would be trying to house 3 in one cage? What size is the cage and how did you do introductions? 3 males working together is rare.
important question ❤ my parents are planning on getting me a cage that's approx 26 in x 49 in, but she was wondering if it's better to make one myself so it's to my exact liking. if I did so, would a chloroplast or wood cage be better? I know you have chloroplast cages but I was wondering if there's any downsides to having either a chloroplast or wooden cage getting wet in any case of cleaning by wiping it down or anything
You can't have a wood based cage for guinea pigs, it would get wet and mold. 2 guinea pigs need at least 28 by 56 inches, so building your own c&c cage to that size or bigger is always better.

For Seymour's cage what pack of storage grids did you purchase? For example, was is a set of 6 storage cubes, 4 storage cubes, 2 packs of 6 storage cubes, etc. :)
Also, what are the dimensions to the flooring?
I bought the grids that have 9 squares across and maybe 8 grids in a pack. His cage is 28 by 72 inches.

I have two male guinea pigs, they really seem to hate each other so they both live in separate C&C cages. My question is, will they ever come around to each other or is it a no go forever? Also how do I figure out if a guinea pig would be dominate/submissive?
You can't really tell until you put them with another guinea pig what they will be like. Being neighbours is better than nothing and it could be a personality clash for why they don't get along or could be age if they are very young sometimes with their raging hormones they can be very hard to match up.
