I will never understand why people call S3 mid. Other than TA being the ranked mode I have like 0 complaints and balance became arguably the best it has ever been.
Its mid cuz no LTM, now i dont play ranked and terminal is whatever.
World tour was restricting, now world tour is just cashout tournament but more.
@tejoadi4349 World Tour never felt restricting to me I don't get that complaint at all. Most of the changes were just what we currently have in WT, I don't really remember there being any section where you had heavy loadout restrictions but there was like a month or so that I didn't play for so idk
Balance? Are you kidding me? Bad guns with a spam throwing knives and the winch claw? S3 was boring and not balanced. Kyoto was mid at best and the guns were useless
The throwing knives were annoying because people would spam them and kill you even tho you hit them more. The guns weren’t balanced at all
Ranked was bad
You can literally go against bronze players while you’re an emerald
The game became boring and repetitive with no events and a huge let down because summer is the best season for any game
Except the finals
S3 was a mistake
Stop glazing it because you love the finals
Criticise them so they can learn from a mid season and do better next time

I hope we get new gadgets and a light specialty at some point during this season. Medium got one season 2, heavy got one season 3, and ngl I'm surprised we didn't see one here yet.
Its fine where it's at. I feel like they need to add meaningful abilities rather than gimmicks. If they can't give something that is worthwhile I'm fine with the current setup

Nerfing heavy mesh shield to 500 HP is diabolic. What the hell is the point of it. It would already get deleted if two people shot at it. Stupid pointless nerf.
What's next making the M60 and Lewis gun even worse? Might as well forget using heavy next season.

I get why people are saying the things they are but he did say he would be back and he needed reliable views. I'm personally excited to have ottr back and hope he can maybe get those reliable views from deadlock or something (or maybe even the finals if im feeling optimistic) and still be able to make finals content with it cause this game is awesome. I also really like the positive tone of this video, i feel like a lot of people have a problem because Ottr has in the past been more than a little harsh 💀

The LH1 is based on the m14 or m1a, which are successors to the m1 garand, and chambered in 308. Medium getting an m1 garand doesnt make sense, they usually gets smaller caliber guns. The pike-556 seems like its based on a keltec SU16 or something similar.

Heavy is still the strongest class in the game. These nerfs even things out so it's perhaps more even with the others now

Honestly hearing that we can now buy and modify our weapons makes me happy because some guns could be used a lot more due to the simple fact of having better visibility with set weapon

sniper nerf was necessary 100% but it also makes me cry lol
any non-hitscan sniper just doesnt feel like a sniper if its bullets move slower than most other guns
Was reeeeeeeaaally hoping they would make it so you can return to your weapon after pressing gadget keys 1-3 a second time(same way you can do with your specialization)

Ottr, I'm very glad you want to come back, but we need a promise from you this time. You were one of the great creators in the spotlight at the time, and we really appreciated your presence! You brought a lot of players to the finals, and covered a lot of things that the community really enjoyed! We understood from your initial video that you needed to step away from THE FINALS due to financial circumstances, but you really left us in the dust. I'm sure you've already seen the many people who were upset to see you go, and even wanted you back, but you really pushed us aside and that felt very harsh to us. I know you're trying to trend hop a bit, but we want to see you in THE FINALS community as one of the core creators. If you can promise us that you won't leave us on a limb like that, and be more open with us, we can thrive in the community together. The only reason I bring this up is due to some of the bitterness that was settled within the community based on how you left. Glad to see you are willing to give us a second chance.

It is, at the end of the day, just a game. Ottr is free to make his own choices and walk away from- or invest in- whatever game he wants

Tbh idk how to feel about this new season yet. I guess I’ll have to wait and see but no new gadgets or specializations when those are the things that always change things up the most is a big miss in my opinion, especially when we all know that this game has had a bad track record when it comes to bringing us new weapons that anyone actually ends up using. That plus the fact that the map looks like a reskin version of two maps combined just kinda makes it seem like there isn’t that much that’s actually new this season. Idk, just a little disappointing since the finals already suffers from a bit of repetitiveness and could really use a change of pace

Honesstly. Im digging the Finals a lot. I dont like the damage and i dont like that some classes simply feel op. (Heavy and Light)
But the games fun and competitive. I kind of actually want to get better at the game in a serious sense. Its really epic looking and very crispy graphically.
So they follow the same old pattern, nerf medium and heavy leave light untouched... dissapointed to say the least.

Your advantage of having iron sight is you no longer have a scope I don't know why you'd think it would do anything else
