I have enjoyed all your videos from before I ever got a violin to now. During quarantine I haven't been able to play the highest string because something was wrong w/it. The team had placed a small piece of colored plastic which helped it somehow to work for a while until now it's totally out of tune and the knobs will NOT allow it to stay where it becomes correctly tuned. Have you ever heard of something like this? I'm wondering if I can't just order a brand new string but I'm nervous how to thread it Lol! Even the violin teacher beforehand said she hadn't a clue what the issue was! I'm going to try this technique on my 3 other strings!
