Thanks so much! That means a lot 😀
You brought up some interesting points. I love your coffee talks. Hopefully the channel will indeed generate some income. It's wonderful that you're doing it for an even higher purpose. Your grandkids will enjoy it
We certainly appreciate you watching & your kind words. Have a blessed Sunday 😊
I absolutely love all your reasons! I have truly enjoyed watching your videos and I hope your channel grows because you guys are just super sweet, informative, entertaining and a joy to watch. I love that you talk about retirement because we have or are having a similar life experience as a special needs family. You give great advice and ideas, and it helps me a great deal. Thank you for sharing your retirement with us.
Thanks so much Joann! Your kind words mean so much to us 😊
Just a great way to document my love and times with Otis!
Wonderful! Otis is a beautiful companion! 🤗
We enjoyed hearing the reasons you began a YT channel, Terri and Keith. We started roughly the same time. We had both retired earlier and began traveling I was only taking photos. We did occasional videos, but they were for family. But there's not really a good way to share them if they're any longer than 15-20 seconds that we knew of them at the time. I knew YT would work and did it mostly to share with family and friends. That's all that came too! If we crossed 10 views I was excited! Then some other folks started watching and I was hooked. We too made terrible videos at first, but improved as time went by. Our first videos aren't even public anymore! Loving our journey and love coming along with you on yours!
UA-cam has given us the opportunity to meet wonderful people like you guys! We hope you have a blessed Sunday!
All of these were great reasons to start your channel. We do love having documentation of our travels - both for our loved ones and for us to enjoy looking back on. And it really is a great project for yall to work on together in retirement. We are wishing our parents had some sort of project that would help them find a greater purpose. But they haven't found it yet. Thanks for sharing your retirement with us!
We are enjoying doing it so that’s what counts.I’ll be sending an email soon about possibly meeting you guys. We’ll be in VA Beach the first week of October.
It does give me an excuse to go places 🤪😎
It definitely gives an excuse to be out and about!
Good reasons, all of them :)
Thanks 😊
Always good to reflect. I started mine to share visits from my Australian grandson to me in the Netherlands. It sort if snowballed from that. My friend from New Zealand and our trip to Wales. Slowly I became more confident. The first videos are no way near the standard of today's ones 🤣 and I am learning as I go. That too is one of the aging issues. Learning as one goes...! Keeping up with technology and the world at large. It expands the social contacts too. Good on you both for taking up this challenge. Long may you enjoy your activities. Unlike Dave and Kathy, I've kept my beginnings online. I hope my grandchildren later wil laugh while watching them. Have a wonderful week. 😎👌🙋♀🥝
We have kept our first videos public as well. Every now & then we can look back & see how far we have come. UA-cam is a constant learning curve it seems.
I do enjoy the coffee ☕️ talks they are just the right length, not too long or too short. Here is a topic idea: 💡 Trip packing as we get older. The days of just a toothbrush and fresh undies are over. I maybe over pack, taking meds and first aide for possible flair ups. How do you guys stay prepared without renting a uhall? 😂
Great topic idea! We’ll add that to our list! Thanks 😊
