damn i never knew this would ever have been found, yet at the same time I can't believe it was so easy to find. simply looking up a wayback archive of the site of the studio that produced the show. really shows the lack of a fandom this show has ngl especially considering that for many more popular shows their fandoms scrape every last fiber of the net for such lost media relating to their shows

The series was released the same year as my birth,
I have no idea how i discovered it, I just found it on youtube when i was 8 and my life totally flipped over.
I started to draw my own 'alien weapons' in a catalog and telling mom what they could do (she might showed me that cartoon),
I sometimes played in my old house with a dog that im kat or coop and it was super fun with my silly doggy. I could watch the series everyday by dinner and while drawing my own comics (i've lost them :( BUT i glad i made them and had fun C: ) and keep playing in my room.
Now as a grown teenager that discovered some bad issues in her Im still sad that theres no continuation, no sequels and no more information.. Imagine the episodes we could have.. that makes me sad, but coming back and rewatching the series bring me back some memories. It brings me back to my old room where i was just a happy kid that didn't need to worry about anything..
To today day im still thinking if I could learn myself how to draw and animate to create a fan-made episode hoping i would re-continue the series.. It's almost impossible but istg, i would give more than thousands for these series to continue..
This show is the only thing I truly gatekeep, It will be in my heart forever,

Me parece interesante como se ve ambientado en otra época, o de otro pais incluso (No soy muy culto en eso, perdonen xd).
Pero siento que tiene un humor más injusto, y eso no me gusta, lo cual no sucede en la serie que sacaron después, donde pese a todas las injusticias que le pasaban a Coop, terminaba con un buen final para él, de una u otra forma, lo cual te deja sintiendote bien.
Aparte, aquí Señor Gato parece tener un odio injustificado hacia él. En el primer episodio él parecia no agradarle nadie, en general, todo empezó porque Coop queria deshacerse de él, mientras Millie le daba de comer, cosa que ayudó a que le tuviera más confianza a ella y un poco de rencor a Coop.
Luego, en la segunda temporada, Coop ya le hacia frente a Señor Gato sin miedos, mientras él ahora lo odiaba por interferir con sus planes más que nada, como si tuviera que deshacerse de él por no dejarle hacer su trabajo.
En fin, me gustó el rumbo que tomó la serie más que el piloto.

If you had shown me this 12 years ago me and a bunch of former friends and online acquaintances would have lost our minds. How long has this been available on the original website? If I recall correctly, back then not even Rob Boutilier himself knew about the whereabouts of this pilot and he even implied that it could never see the light of day. The guys at the wikias (if there are any remaining active users) probably don't even know that it's available here, as the articles seem to not have been updated in years and so far there are no updates on the pilot's articles. Anyway, thank you for upload! I used to be a devoted fan of this show right since it premiered on Disney XD Latin America in 2009, around 2011 I had gradually lost interest and moved on. So just today more than ten years later I decided to look up the name of the pilot on youtube out of boredom and then I bumped into this. I can't believe it's been here since the pandemic started haha. Man how things have changed since then, but this little cartoon of my late teens still makes me smile even to this day, the pilot feels surreal, and yet almost everything that made the show what it is today still looks in place, it seems that the characters had already been fleshed out, which of course is obvious due to the simple nature of the show, although Coop being voiced by a guy would have never had the same relatability and charm as the great job Erin Mathews did for the character. And Kat being somewhat able to vocalize in a deep mature male voice is downright innapropiate as it would have ruined his childlike personality and easily spolied his mysterious origins and motivations. Kid vs Kat, as flawed as it was, still has a place in my heart and this pilot proves that the people behind the show really loved and cared for their work and tried their best to give us something worthwhile. I realize now that I still miss it deeply.
I had no idea this even existed.
There are some hidden beta in this including Dennis, Phoebe, Harley and Lorne.
Dennis being a Albanian descent instead of being asian or hong-konger descent and his surname is Verputchuk.
Lorne and Harley are bullies on this pilot compared to it's release.
And Phoebe is so goofy in beta, glad they changed it.

That's literally what happens in the last episode of the series. "The kat Goes Back" if I believe. Tbh, better late than never. I felt most of the show was filler for itself - while leading to some interesting situations, I felt that it was too easy to predict what happens next. Coop has some thicc plot armor.

The difference is Tom & Jerry is a masterpiece and "Kid vs Kat" is something exists.
When you really think about it, everything's a rip off of something. I would say the only time something's obviously a "rip off" is when it's literally a shot for shot remake of the show under a different title with different colors.
