You can get inexpensive great coffee in many places in NYC - just walk a block out of the touristy areas and youll find great bodegas with breakfast choices and excellent coffee.
Just so you know, the ball for New Year’s is keep up through the year and then they raise it up when it gets to the new year so that one is there throughout the year and then when it’s a new year, they raise it up and they change it
Fun, fun video. Loved seeing all around the city. Excited to see NYU, my grandson is there working on his doctorate. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
As a former New Yorker, the best bagel I ever had in my life is Brooklyn bagels!! I use to go to the Astoria Queens location!! They are so thick and soft in the center… just amazing sandwiches!! They usually have a long line but to be truthful I never had Liberty Bagels! Can’t wait for my visit next month! Thank you for your content!! ❤
Kyle, you need to invest in a couple of wireless/bluetooth mics for you and Casey. It’s hard to hear your review when their is a noisey background. JSFFT.
It's so funny to see my Disney vloggers touring my hometown! You should've just ate tons of food at Bryant Park. They have so many good food booths!! It's much better than Union Sq
Oh my gosh 🥹🥹 I love this so much!! My husband and I did these exact things for last December!! I squealed when ya’ll got the pasta in the parmesan wheel because I did that too at the same market 🤩🤩 I am a parmesan lover so this was a dream!!
Loving the NYC vlogs! My son lives right near Union Square, so we've been to that Christmas market many times! You both navigated the subway so well! We love the city at Christmas!!
Awesome video series! You two are wonderful. The wooden escalator you were on in Macy’s is the oldest and only working wooden escalator in the USA. It was installed around 1920.
I enjoyed your trip through New York City. I’m glad you went into FAO Schwartz. Here’s a little something you may not have known Kyle and Casey … A few movies were filmed in FAO Schwarz: “Christmas at Schwarz” (1968), “Big” (1989) where Tom Hanks uses The Big Piano (located on Level 2 of the store) to create a melody in front of the crowd, and “The Smurfs” (2011). Note that the piano has been replaced with a smaller one but the concept remains the same.
It’s the NYC water that make NYC bagels so great, and why bagels are never as good outside of New York (same with pizza, it’s the water that makes the crust so good)!
My husband traveled a lot on business and he stayed at the Plaza one time. You should have gone to Tavern on the Green in Central Park for dinner. Ir is iconic!
Quick advice: Don’t wait for the train too close to the edge. There are a lot of mentally ill people in NYC, it has been on the news very frequently since like after Covid of people being pushed on to the track and our Governor is a witch and our major a crook. This is coming from a true New Yorker who was born in the heart of NYC. Stay safe 😊 ✌🏼
Where's the proposal? You're not going to find better than her, not because you don't deserve her but because she's a diamond. They're hard to find. Ya'll are perfect for each other, lock it down!
Im so happy you guys got to eat at the Plaza. Very nice place to go for drinks after work. You guys did good. The more you come here the more you will see that there is so much more to NY than just Manhattan. Great vlog.
I would’ve love to have run into you guys!! Also if you need to find what subway to take put your destination into google maps and change the car to train
I would agree, but I am sure some vlogs do a little preplanning of filming to "enhance" their effort. I am sure Casey would control that moment otherwise!!
You must not watch many vlogs. This is a really common thing that lifestyle vloggers do. It's kind of like, hey, we are starting our day. Not unusual at all.
Yes, agree. I wouldn’t say it is common but not here to argue.😊 We watch Kara and Nate. Nate wakes Kara up with coffee. He has done this for years every morning, in their vlog.❤️
Walking around New York is fun. The market places you went to is just so much to do and see too bad. You don't have the time you could go to a museum like metropolitan museum of art would be a nice place to go, but you're having a good time together you got to eat in the plaza hotel good job Casey and Kyle
Yes, Chelsea’s Marketplace too, the Plaza is a must, and of course The MET!! We go to these places every time! Maybe next time they can check out the amazing broadway theater!!😊
Nothing like Christmas season in NYC. Great hotel room…you guys lucked out for sure! And bagels, pizza & breads all taste better in the NY/NJ area due to having the best water…believe it or not. 😊
I love your videos!! The last time I was in New York City, I walked all day and all night..But, now I need a double knee replacement,.. so I was very happy for your walking tour of the city..I have never seen Casey so happy and excited..makes me wish I could fund another trip to NYC for you !!!
Hey Kyle , the wooden escalators at Macys, are in fact original. If you have ever watched the Macys Thanksgiving Parade , you will recognize the entrance to Macys, with the Santa on the roof. That is where they do the entertainment, singing, dancing, etc. NYC , is a tough city to visit, it’s huge , spread out, and very crowded. It’s a place like no other, the energy, history, and cranky people. 🤨
Oh love Sweetgreen! I order from there way too often, but it's just so good! Especially their seasonal bowls. Woah, Central Park is empty! Usually when we're there it is packed, this looks so much nicer! $95 isn't bad for a prix fixe, cheaper than some of the ones we've done in Disney, even cheaper than the wine pairing in Disney. I'm sorry the Plaza didn't live up to expectations, I'm surprised you didn't like the wagyu, was it real Japanese Wagyu or American Kobe? Japanese Wagyu is amazing, I can't imagine getting some that isn't good. And shocked it was the same price for the vegetarian option, usually that is less. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Fun fact….Spiderman was filmed in Rochester, NY. (At least a few scenes were). Also, you keep saying NY is expensive, but you are in a city and that is where it is expensive, not necessarily the rest of the state. I am in a part where it is less expensive than most of Florida. With that being said, it was nice to see the city as a native NYer, I have never been there. I am glad you did research before you went. Also….the treasure is probably the only ship of Disney I would go on. (Unless they make a cooler one!)
We always have tea (the food is so good)at the Plaza when in NY! It’s really fun! (The Carlyle has a great tea and lunch too!) We’ve always had great vegetarian food there!! Sorry you didn’t like it! You are paying for the experience and eating/drinking in an iconic venue! It might not be worth it for some! (Just like Disney, sometimes you pay for the experience and not the food, etc.)The Eloise gift shop has super cute merch!! There used to be boutique type shops and cool eating places downstairs! Hope you can see a play next time!! Fun video!! 😊 You’ll have to check out the MET next time in NY! Totally worth it! They also have a beautiful roof top bar with gorgeous views!!!
So enjoyable seeing you visit Manhattan. I used to work down the street from Bryant Park and Times Square. Both locations are such a vibe. BTW the rink is WOLLMAN RINK.
Gotta love those windows and that view in the AM 🥰 The Macy building is so pretty 🎄oh that Crepe looks amazing 😆Wow the Plaza 🥰 You'll have to watch Eloise Kyle . That was an exciting , busy day so fun !!! Thanks for taking us along ❤
Bryant Park is my favorite. When I used to meet my husband at Conways, I always stopped there first. Just sitting, drinking Starbucks and taking pictures. I really miss that. Loved the library at the back too.
Awesome video. I'm heading to NYC in couple of weeks and this was very helpful! I'm glad you didn't do a carriage ride. Those horses are treated horribly. Very very inhumane.
Good Morning 🌞 Let’s go. Love this series. I definitely think you need to go back next year. 😊😊. FYI most of the stores will ship free to you so if you don’t want to carry something you can have them ship back to your house 😊😊❤❤.
this had me thinking about the time i was at the plaza/nyc in 2015 in almost summer time and they have market places and i got lobster rolls that were amazing
Funny that you said, look out for rats. When I was a kid growing up in NYC, my friends and I would try to count how many rats we would see on the track before our train arrived! Good times!
Thanks for the tour and the review of the Plaza. Glad to know the food was meh, I wanted to stay there someday. So we may pass. there are nicer hotels to stay in!
What an amazing iconic experience! So much of what you did we did on our NYC trip - Thanks for brining back the memories! I've never heard of the Plaza Hotel before though - good to know that prob don't need to add it to our list! Is that where the Macy's Thanksgiving parade is held? I SO LOVE that you guys get to experience all of this TOGETHER! XOXOX Wendy Lady
Honestly, we’ve always enjoyed it!! We do the tea service that comes with a lot of great food! Maybe better to avoid busy times in the evening! They used to have some excellent and unique food venues downstairs too! Maybe read some other reviews too?!😊😊😊
I've had several experiences where I don't regret doing them, but I also wouldn't do them again - kind of sounds like your Plaza experience. Thanks for sharing!
My niece went to NYU and one of the years her dorm was across the street from the park I remember going with my family to see her and going to the market. It was years ago. She’s a teacher and 9/11 was back when she was doing her student teaching.
As a New Yorker it’s so funny watching out of towers navigate nyc😂😂😂
As a lifelong New Yorker, I found seeing NYC through a tourist's eyes interesting.
Same! I actually feel like I've been taking our home for granted.
Thanks for taking me for a spin around my old “campus.” NYU was expensive (even back in the day when I went) but 100% worth it. Life changing.
@@Alross-f7o my daughter is waiting to hear back from her app! 🤞🏾🤞🏾
So funny to see you act shocked by the prices in NY when Disney is a lot more expensive😂😂😂
you got that right !
Kyle you tried to scan the metrocard??? 😂😂😂😂😂 You swipe the metrocard. The scan is for creditcards. Native New Yorker here so super funnies to me 😂😂😂
You can get inexpensive great coffee in many places in NYC - just walk a block out of the touristy areas and youll find great bodegas with breakfast choices and excellent coffee.
Some of the carts have really good coffee.
I am so glad your jacket, like all jackets, has zippers to protect you from pickpockets. Stay safe in the Big Apple! xoxo - Memaw
Just so you know, the ball for New Year’s is keep up through the year and then they raise it up when it gets to the new year so that one is there throughout the year and then when it’s a new year, they raise it up and they change it
"Everybody has holiday market stuff for holiday."
The tree at Rockefeller center isn't lit till December 4 this year. It's a big thing
Fun, fun video. Loved seeing all around the city. Excited to see NYU, my grandson is there working on his doctorate. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Going to spend this christmas in NYC and this definitely got me in the mood! Great video 🙌🏻new subscriber
This is the most perfect, cozy and festive vlog to watch at the weekend! ❤️❄️🎄 Thank you for this!! I enjoyed seeing familiar sights in NYC

Sweetgreen is phenomenal. We have quite a few in California. Great video. The decorations were so lush and beautiful and loved the trumpet player.
It's always so FUN to see you guys in a different place!!!
Kyle, this was a remarkable video!! I’ve always wanted to go to NYC and even more now!! Excellent job!!😊
Absolutely loved this vid Kyle & Casey 🙌💙🙌 Much love from far western KY 💙
I have PTSD from seeing that Macys. Wife came out with a new Louis bag. She was happy, my wallet not so much.
Loved watching your New York trip
Ohhh yumm I love sweetgreen 🤤🙌🏻🤩 thanks for sharing
This trip looks like such a blast!! Btw, thanks for not taking a horse carriage. the treatment of those horses is super sad.
❤
I enjoyed your trip through New York City.
I’m glad you went into FAO Schwartz. Note that the piano has been replaced with a smaller one but the concept remains the same.
Also Home Alone. The original store used to be in 5th across of the Plaza Hotel.
It’s the NYC water that make NYC bagels so great, and why bagels are never as good outside of New York (same with pizza, it’s the water that makes the crust so good)!
The NY bagel is the water- there are places in south Florida that get NY water shipped to them to make the bagel
Next to NYC bagels being the best in my opinion, S FL has amazing bagels! (Live in DelrayBeach)!😊
My husband traveled a lot on business and he stayed at the Plaza one time. You should have gone to Tavern on the Green in Central Park for dinner. Ir is iconic!
Great vlog!!! You guys just missed all the snow ⛄️ 🥶❄️in NYC!!
I love New York City and I have visited many times, Its always fun to see on youtube!
I believe NYC actually has a department dedicated to the rat probl3m
Quick advice: Don’t wait for the train too close to the edge. Love the vlog 🎄NYC has the best pizza and bagels 🥯 🍕. So glad you went to Bryant park and your other points of adventure! So fun!
Luv Bryant park so glad you guys go to get there. 😊
Welcome to NY! Great place to visit during the holidays !
Where's the proposal? You're not going to find better than her, not because you don't deserve her but because she's a diamond. They're hard to find. Ya'll are perfect for each other, lock it down!
Don't be weird
Im so happy you guys got to eat at the Plaza. Very nice place to go for drinks after work. You guys did good. The more you come here the more you will see that there is so much more to NY than just Manhattan. Great vlog.
I would’ve love to have run into you guys!! Also if you need to find what subway to take put your destination into google maps and change the car to train
Google maps for the win
So odd to film your girlfriend in bed, just waking up.
He showed her for a half second. Relax.
You must not watch many vlogs, it is quite common.
Yes, agree. I wouldn’t say it is common but not here to argue.😊 We watch Kara and Nate. Nate wakes Kara up with coffee. He has done this for years every morning, in their vlog.❤️
You should have went to the Harry Potter store.. it’s amazing and has props and movie amaziningness!!
Walking around New York is fun. The market places you went to is just so much to do and see too bad. Yes, Chelsea’s Marketplace too, the Plaza is a must, and of course The MET!! We go to these places every time! Maybe next time they can check out the amazing broadway theater!!😊
I believe there is a market place by the Warner center/Columbus circle.
Nothing like Christmas season in NYC.
Great hotel room…you guys lucked out for sure!
And bagels, pizza & breads all taste better in the NY/NJ area due to having the best water…believe it or not. 😊

I’m watching this from Prague guys. The chimney is not traditional, but very tasty 😅 Nice video!
oh boy, track 7? You mean the 7 line. You could have taken the 2/3 to 14th street or the N/R to 18th street.
My parents have heated floors in our bathrooms there super nice
I was hoping it was Corey Feldman
Kyle, you don't need to buy a metro card. Just use your iPhone or Apple Watch. It's like Disney's Magic Mobile.
Hey Kyle , the wooden escalators at Macys, are in fact original.

It is actually Casey doing the research, she is well organized, he is never prepared and very messy. I guess they balance each other out.
I was just going to ask about wooden escalator
Home Alone All Day. Hate you missed the Swartz Toy Store.
Looks like you had a fun day! I love Bryant Park.
Always negotiate with the carriage drivers. We did a nice little tour through for $40..just tell them what you want to spend.
We always have tea (the food is so good)at the Plaza when in NY! It’s really fun! (The Carlyle has a great tea and lunch too!) We’ve always had great vegetarian food there!! Sorry you didn’t like it! This vlog makes me want to watch Miracle on 34th Street, which is one of my favorite Christmas movies.
Thanks again! I appreciate the in depth tour of not only the Treasure but also New York City (I've never been there).
Love, love, love this series! This is my first Christmas without my mom, so I needed extra festive content to lift spirits. Thanks!
Chelsea Market is cool.
Yes!
The view you have in the hotel is AMAZING! Thanks for the daily videos and I always think of NY when I think of Christmas
I stayed in 2405 at the tempo this summer. Amazing views
So enjoyable seeing you visit Manhattan. I used to work down the street from Bryant Park and Times Square. Both locations are such a vibe. BTW the rink is WOLLMAN RINK.
You kids...I always attribute the Plaza to the original movie Arthur...great movie in New York!
I love that you called “Wollman’s Rink” the “woman’s rink” lol.
If the come back do The Ride!
I prefer to stay near Grand Central when I’m visiting NYC.
The difference is the NYC water used in the bagel making. Since no other place has our water, the bagels taste unique.
Literally ran to the comments to make this same comment. It’s so true! Stuff in NY is just better 😂
We have traveled all over and still feel that NYC makes the better bagel!!!😊
Gotta love those windows and that view in the AM 🥰 The Macy building is so pretty 🎄oh that Crepe looks amazing 😆Wow the Plaza 🥰 You'll have to watch Eloise Kyle . That was an exciting , busy day so fun !!! Thanks for taking us along ❤
KYLE & CASEY try CAVA way better then sweet green and fresh kitchen
Good Morning Kyle and Casey I think Casey should start a UA-cam Channel she is so wonderful in front of the camera
The question is though could she do it without Kyle? Because past times he's given it to her alone she's freaked out.
free charli xcx concert that is amazing
Bryant park my favorite
The Plaza doesnt make any reference to Bride Wars???
Seeing you guys walking around my city, I felt like a tourist myself 😂 Hope you guys enjoyed!
Bryant Park is my favorite. When I used to meet my husband at Conways, I always stopped there first. Just sitting, drinking Starbucks and taking pictures. I really miss that. Loved the library at the back too.
Great video! Casey is right the Eloise movie is good, my daughter & I just watched it!!
Kyle when you come back home, and are in Milwaukee, definitely check out Allie Boy's Bagelry and Luncheonette! ,🔥🔥🔥
Casey is a lefty!!! Join the club!!! Lefties are always right!!
Kyle, this is one of the best videos that you have vlogged
Awesome video. I'm heading to NYC in couple of weeks and this was very helpful!
I'm glad you didn't do a carriage ride. Those horses are treated horribly. Very very inhumane.
Thank you for mentioning this.❤
What an amazing series!! Thank you for taking us along❤
When we learned Google maps on your phone (choosing the public transportation option) gives super-specific directions, it was life-changing!
Love NYC!
Yes!! And not having to buy a metro card; just scanning Apple Pay made everything SO EASY!
Bryant Park is my favorite place in NYC.
Good Morning 🌞 Let’s go. Love this series. I definitely think you need to go back next year. 😊😊. FYI most of the stores will ship free to you so if you don’t want to carry something you can have them ship back to your house 😊😊❤❤.
You don’t need the metro cards anymore. You can just tap to pay.
this had me thinking about the time i was at the plaza/nyc in 2015 in almost summer time and they have market places and i got lobster rolls that were amazing
Funny that you said, look out for rats. When I was a kid growing up in NYC, my friends and I would try to count how many rats we would see on the track before our train arrived! Good times!
Look for the famous pizza rat.
Macys will l send any thing you purchase to your home …mo need to carry it around alley I have done this many times😅
Thanks for the tour and the review of the Plaza. Glad to know the food was meh, I wanted to stay there someday. So we may pass. there are nicer hotels to stay in!
Loving NY videos ❤

14:37 🤣
When I tell you I cackled
