Pile 3. It felt really accurate. I don't know their behind the scenes, but that sounded a lot like that last meeting and how they might have perceived it.
Pile 2 resonated with me perfectly- genuinely felt like a personal reading when he has expressed these exact things to me in the past and how his confusion at my authenticity is too good to be true (with how awful his previous relationships were). I've especially woken up after the nonsense he pulled with someone else, as he tried to go back into old, self sabotaging, childish habits. This has worked in my favor in ways I didn't expect. I now know what I am deserving of in connections, with our separation and I'm grateful he can experience his own version of self awareness too.
