    The term "kiln-glass" covers an enormous range of working methods and types of work, including everything from simple platter-like forms to cast sculptures, painterly panels and architectural installations. In this lesson you will view a variety of finished pieces by contemporary artists working in kiln-glass.

    The goal of our ongoing educational video series is to explore the full range of kiln-glass methods and cover the same lessons taught in regular Bullseye classes.
    This is an open-ended series of online lessons appropriate for everyone from beginners to advanced kilnformers. Lessons are designed by Bullseye instructors to provide foundational skills, inspiration, and new leading-edge approaches to kiln-glass. Downloadable firing schedules, product lists, and helpful links are included.

    I don’t know what I find the most unusual, the stunning variation and imagination of the amazing work shown here or that out of over 8,000 viewings (end of 2013) only one other person thought it worth commenting on!

    Wonderful! Eta Carinae is a supernova, isn´ t it?

      That big dual-lobed shape you see in the images is the Homunculus Nebula which is formed out of some massive event that occurred in the Eta Carinae star system. The Eta Carinae stars are intact though. They are a binary pair that are highly variable in brightness and every ~five years come super close to each other. It's a fascinating system!
