Just like elsewhere in the Philippines, it's also difficult in Samar province in terms of economic survival, income level and sustainability, and much less, sustainability, but maybe it is progressing for the betterment of the local people and the future residents, and returning OFWs and even foreign nationals, etc. Meanwhile, I think the local people in this town are living on simple economic patterns to keep surviving and make ends meet daily.

On the livelihood aspect, most of the land area of
Las Navas is devoted on agricultural production of coconut,
abaca, rice, cash crops and vegetables. The leading source
of cash income is coconut followed by abaca. Upland and
some lowland rice are mainly for food consumption.
I'm not sure if until now this place was tagged as the "Rice Granery of N. Samar".

@@motambay9414 Agriculture is the basis of progress of the civilization and agricultural development production of various indigenous products is ideal and must continue and must have the support of the local government. There is also a future in Samar by 2040-2050 so that Visayas men and women in that part will no longer work outside of their province as helpers or labourers.

I think by 2050, this town shall also become a city or even earlier?

    • @motambay9414

Not sure... the opening of Palapag- Simora road is huge factor to determine its development.

Hence, maybe, by 2030-2040, this Las Navas town, N. Samar shall also become progressive! God bless!
