Another Christmas present for us!! Heaven consist of innocence, humility, and a willingness to learn and serve others. Thank you Curtis and Team, you are always an enormous blessing! ❤❤❤
This is totally correct and resonates with me. I work in a deli and I make subs for people and slice lunch meat and it actually gives me joy to provide people with what they want. Many times I can feel a genuine love and appreciation for the people I am serving well up deep inside of myself. Sometimes people come in that aren’t very pleasant to serve because they can be very demanding, condescending, or ungrateful, but I still give them the best service that I can because I am there to serve everybody. I am 61 and realized early in life that I feel the most joy serving others. And I grew up in New Jersey and remember WAWA (I’ve lived in Georgia since 1990). My dad would love to get subs from there about three times a week because it was his favorite store to get subs and subs were his favorite thing to eat. I miss him a lot and I hope that if there are deli stores in heaven that I can work there and make my dad the perfect sub someday.😊
I absolutely LOVE this concept and can totally see God teaching this. Like God is the ultimate leader of leaders… utility without personal ambition. Speaking volumes without having to say much at all. A sense of safety, ability, and strength. Most of all He genuinely wants to share in His leadership. There is zero jealousy… like the opposite of jealousy. He lays Himself down so that others can lead. In fact, the person leading is often the objective, so the results of the project a person may be leading is often not even important to God. The process of the person growing into maturity through the act of leading, though, that appears to be very important to Him.
Perhaps you mention this later… It could also be said that Gd is looking at your authenticity… as a child is not covered over with false names or expectations, etc. you both reference what a heavenly person and a heavenly place must be, with Swedenborgs inference although, the example that is pivotal in each reference is being seen by Gd. Even you willingness to explore the topic is a view of another, rather than self idealism. Relate and authenticity are patternadi that don’t end.
I moved to a rural place where typos had as much meaning as a gecko poop. Ah, priorities. Some people assume the way I type with one finger and wrestle with siris mob make it obvious I’m a wicked underwhelm in the philosophical arenas of asstudery. Oh well. As ive tut before, Santa can.
One can't be "useful" or "seek God" if they have to spend their whole day toiling at a useless (if not evil) job, just so they can eat and survive... -_- I managed to move into a more bearable position now, but that's still how I spent most of my life until now. And, like most people out there, it's not like I had a choice. All humans deserve a minimum amount of "power" and "wealth". ...Not the kind that makes one better than others and gives bragging rights. Just the amount that allows for a decent life, and for people to actually have time they can dedicate to seeking and accomplishing their purpose. ...Is that really too much to ask, Mr. God?
The bible says God provides for believers while they're on Earth as well: "31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6
@@josueribeiro07 I was betrayed and manipulated countless times in my life, so I have trust issues. And that includes with God. After all, he let those things happen to me, up to the point of attempting suicide too. Probably a "me" problem to the eyes of someone with a stronger faith than I, but it'll take me more than a few words in a book to convince me that "God really provides". But even though I just can't accept those verses as true in my current state of mind, I know you were trying to help. So at least, thanks for that.
@@josueribeiro07 ...And if the only way God provides you to make that money/food/shelter is to do evil? Throughout my life, I tried to run away from computer engineering ever since I realized how evil what the tech corporations are doing actually is. I tried to earn my bread in other ways, but it never worked. My attempts to change fields and jobs simply failed. ALL THE TIME. So now, I'm forced to work on evil, evil projects just to survive. And I TRIED to do something else, only for all those attempts to fail. ...So, God WANTS me to do evil then? I would like to have the answer to that. Really.
totally get the frustration here, and for a long time it felt as if God was working against me at times. There were times where He clearly was giving me opportunities to succeed…. and others where He seemed to be keeping success from me. I’d often have to look again and reconsider how God could use me in my circumstances. I think it’s very true that in seeking to be useful to those around us new opportunities begin to follow us. (Some of my best job opportunities came from connections that I made through volunteer efforts.) A life verse for me regarding this is Psalm 1:1-3 Particularly this phrase: “and whatever he does will prosper “
@@AnAngelineer That's very complicated because technology led us to live in a very artificial world. I feel you, I understand it's not your falt and so does God. But pray to God that you also have oportunities to do good. God sees our faith and not our sins. Oportunities to do good will come. Maybe you should in your work do only what is asked of you and nothing else. Like you're being constrained to do what you do but you're not very happy or excited about it. That's a form of resistance as well. But the actual circunstances only you know.
I can hardly understand how can you do any good if you have no power at all. Jesus is the most powerful being in existance. Any good he set his mind to, he did. Everyone, even parents and wife at any sniff of power work immediately to absolve it from you. As if its going to do bad to them, yet theyll never move if they dont allow good to happen. How do you deal with this?
@jasonsherwood7539 i have power. They have their world view and constantly judge out of it. They are needy and constantly judge out of there. You can not fullfil this. I have literally let go of this, only for them to think I will dance to their tunes. It doesnt work like that. They hear about God, they love it, until it gets very personal. No man is willing to change a single thing, unless if he has to. Obviously Im building a tample here.

You said it Chinonye! Innocence and humility, coupled with willingness to serve are the greatest gifts.

Interesting…. just curious, what makes you think that you have no power?
What kind of power that Jesus had do you think you need in order to do good?
