What a great first bike! I got into mountain biking to get into shape also because running sucks! Biking is more entertaining and better on your knees then running. Hopefully he sticks to it!
Great video, nice to see you coaching him along, and the positive encouragement has to help! “Good Job” counter during the ride... 27 “Good Jobs” 😂😂 great ride guys, keep it up 👍
My Brother I have to say you kept me entertained the whole video. Amazing jib teaching your Brother and great patience. We live across from the Garden and will have to connect with y’all. Also great job editing. In all seriousness one of the best local UA-cam channels I’ve seen. Don’t stop creating Brother. Cheers
My first mtb was a 2018 bianchi duel 27.5 listed for 800 new i bought it in 2020 as a leftover model for 500 cash came with shimano deore drivetrain which alot of people said is entry level groupset but it shifts very smoothly tbh
That's awesome! Your brother did a great job. way better than I did on my first time. Heck, I walk with my bike most of the time. Good to see you back in Greer.
Dude your brother’s mindset is insane! Probably your encouragement at least partly. On another note, did you announce the winner of the aftershockz on Instagram or are you going to announce it in a video? Or have you not drawn the winner yet?
coming from a fellow intense bike owner your brother made a great choice in terms of bike. i have a tracer which is the 27.5 enduro bike. intense makes awesome bikes maybe its because im on the east coast but it surprises me there not more popular but maybe thats just here. i upgrade dit from a 160 to a 170 fork and took it to snowshoe and it performed just as well at the bike park as the dh bikes. bikes a monster. so now the bad part of this coment and i mean this is no disrespect but is this video pretty recent? the reason i ask is because i think the bike shop may have ripped yall off. once again being an intense owner im pretty up to date with their stuff. im assuming thats a carbine? based on the paint job of that model i can tell its a 2020 version so basically last years model. if so i have an issue with them selling that for 6,000. i have an issue with them doing that because you can by the the 2021 version of that bike of intenses website for about 400-500 bucks cheaper. also if you go for the lower version the expert build and not the pro could have saved about 2,000 yea it has lower spec components but their still good ie instead of fox suspension it has dvo suspension which is still pretty good and i think as a beginer rider prob wouldnt be that noticeable. like i said not trying to bash yall just hate the fact you got overcharged.
@@MTBdropIN yup I own the m1 and m6. Love the bikes. I would buy a newer one but owning a house with 4 cars and a work schedule that is demanding. I will stick with what I have. I can maybe get a newer one but where I live no one carries them. So I’d have to order one. I’m a guy who likes to see it. Then test it. But I am working on a enduro for sure
That's a really nice bike to begin with!!! I really hope he has fun with it and starts to get healthy again! It is good for physical health but spiritual and mental health truly comes from the word of God! Seek ye first the kingdom and all other things be added. Mountaineering is good for mental health too but a buff spirit through Christ is commendable by God, whose opinion is all that matters! Congrats on the shred sled!!! 👍♥️😎 Edit: is that Texas?🤔 Looks mountainous
What kind of person buys a 6 thousand mountain bike if they have never before. I would start him off on a trek marlin. Besides, I have been riding for 20 years and I just bought a Norco optic c2
If person, really wants to start mountain biking and committed to it and can afford it, its way better to get good bike from the start rather than getting cheap hard tail, and after a while, selling it, loosing money and buying again....
@@MTBdropIN tell you brother to get smallest oval ring like 30\28, it will be way easier for him to start climbing ! I recommend it to all of my friends, also got it for my wife, so now with oval, she feels way better on her knees, and can climb easy gradual climbs, she could not climb before...
@@MTBdropIN very easy to learn id learn running an mtb channel and making sure ur pressures are where u want them that air depletes after a few rides🤙 that bike would come with laminated directions in the goodie box with the suspension pump, just like my Scott did

It’s crazy to buy a bike for $6k and most shop don’t cover much of the service cost .
Yeah it’s not the bikes shops fault it’s the manufacturer who really sets the price . Shops don’t make much on the bikes
Riding a mountain bike in jeans ..... I thought the only guy who did that was Seth .
