Whenever I listen to this I think about how the beginning sounds like a funeral and I picture this one 50 year old man who’s in the process of burying his wife. But as the song progresses he starts flash-backing to when they were younger (about 22 or so) and to when they were in their prime facing trials and tribulations together but making it through and having their love for each other grow stronger. But then the flashback gets darker as his wife grows sicker and sicker until ultimately she passes away. Cut to the present where he’s finishing up with the funeral and as everyone else walks away, he’s the last one left standing. As the song ends he thinks to himself “I’ll see you in 40 years”.
Could you please. To save my soul, The agony! Of now having this one request! Please do a version from 0:56 to 2:50. On loop for at least 3 to 4 times... but not slowed or reverbed... if you could do this one wish for me.. I will love you forever! I'm begging you!
