I actually played against him a while back, I remember his name (and clantag with it lol) He was playing mid Sion and I’m a Lux main. Needless to say when he had 1 mr item I couldn’t do shit and our adc was inting, so the game was basically over. I ban Sion almost every game just because I’m sick and tired of Sion’s mid LOL.
Riot has mentioned in a tweet that after lengthy internal talks, "Strategically Minded Sion" is here to stay for now.

Just focus on some lanes first
If sion is the only problem then theres no problem in clash.
Have a clash kill sion then go push
iRengar i meant its a good pick during laning phase, like poppy can prevent inting sion from destroying your tower. I can't really say much about late game, it depends on team comp and build, and dodging sion's Q
I can't provide concrete example as i don't face a lot of sion in my matches
But i do main sion and poppy
Within my champ pool, poppy is my best pick against that strategy
Otherwise i think urgot and yorick might be good counterpicks too

If you're going against this then either counterpick to a waveclear heavy champion like Sivir or Cassiopia and if you can't then lane switch with bot or have someone else with more waveclear switch.
Played 5 games with it.. team and enemy team flame me, then they stop when they see the enemy tower crumble. Strat is OP rito pls nerf

For those that say they got banned for doing this. Riot themselves said this sion strategy is ok for now. If you got banned it's the bot doing it. Just put in a ticket and they unban you

Because its intentional feeding the system doesnt care if youre giving enemies 10 kills for a turret it just cares about you running under the enemy turrets and letting enemies kill you

Play a champ that does good when fed? OMEGALUL
Play Darius. Favorable match up for Darius and if the Sion keeps inting it doesn't matter how tanks he gets, you'll demolish him before he can start brainlessly pushing. If he splits you can force 4v5 team fights as a fed Darius.
Or if you believe you're getting an int Sion play an AP scaling champ top (Malphite, Swain, etc.) and take mejais with dark harvest. Obviously not a viable stray if you don't know that they're planning to int.
Michael Kawamura you think Sion has a problem with Darius? Lol. The only top laner that could even give this soon strat trouble is a very good fiora. Darius only ruins this strat if the sion literally JUST ints and does this strat poorly. It’s very hard to lose to a Darius. As for ap champions, they’re useless unless it’s a taliyah jungle with liandres or a veigar/viktor possibly. You’re over generalizing how to beat this strat when in practice it’s a lot hard to play against without a well coordinated team to begin with. It’s obnoxious but very potent at what it’s meant to do. Your items will always be tiamat>titanic>streaks>zzz rot so ad or not their team comp won’t matter when ur health is already as massive as it will be before you get ur first mr or as item and zz does good for one

hotfix this pleaseee! ppl dont seem to understand that no matter if u can 1v1 him outpush him or w.e strat u do against him, sion as a champion should not be able to adopt this playstyle as he is already one of the most effective tanks in tf... now he is the optimal splitter aswell.. thats whats wrong boys

Intentional Feeding, annoyed teammates/enemies can report you
System autoban you if you fed every single game.
Mail support and they will unban you, since the strat is legit.
I heard that riot goes in an check the game in three diffrent occasions. for example 5, 15, 25 minutes and check if the deaths were for a purpose, lets say you go for a objective or a kill before dying. So i don’t know about that.
But perhaps breaking a ingame rule considered as a glitch?

They can but you can claim and will get unban
If you feed enemy champions instead of turrets you will get a 14 day suspention or a permaban so remember to execute instead of giving kills

SUΔ yeah no you won’t, the reason this works is d demolishers, additional hp for when minions die next to you from runes and his e. Will he infinitely scale better as demolishers damages is based on HP, he also has two lives.

How about make him deal 1/2 or 1/3 of his damage to tower in his passive form . So if you can kill he before pop demolish proc , he will deal less damage to tower , even better when there is no minions
