AMRC Gear Centre | AGV Demo

Our Gear Centre has used an iconsys - Automated Technology Solutions i-AMR autonomous guided vehicle (AGV), with robot arm, to load billet and retrieve finished components and deliver them to secondary process equipment.
The AGV enables automation of material transfers and workholding change-overs, freeing staff from these routine tasks for more value-added activities, and enabling extended lights-out manufacture of multiple batch runs.
It radically enhances our ‘done-in-one’ philosophy for gear manufacture and opens many opportunities for efficiency, productivity and quality enhancements.
