Mr. Tex, I greatly adore your work. I start watching every stream replay while at work. I'll have to leave early today though. These solo dwarf fortress streams are just a little too slow. The banter with the co host is one of my favorite parts as it brings me back to hanging out with friends in the care free days of my youth. Please take care and continue the great work.

Since she couldn't exactly come home with a Freeborn mercenary husband and she couldn't ignore the issue, that was the end of it. Thinking on it one could probably write a pretty tragic scene where a part of her desperately wants him to come back with her and, Batchall anyone who says anything in a glorious and suicidal gesture; where he wants her to say "To hell with the Clans" and both generally to say "amor vincit omnia". But they both know without saying that that would mean the physical and/or spiritual destruction of their loved one so they both painfully pretend that they understand and what must be must be, while both asking "what might have been?".

Well I don’t what trains you were on Tex, my experiences were always good, only time that was kinda bad. Was bad winter storm related but my last experience was 17 or so years ago, to 30 years ago…it was great. And yes I grew up about 100 yds from a heavy use rail line, mainly freight, with Amtrak and metro link use also, right after metro link started up, o rode Amtrak and metro link, as a kid, then later as a young adult when back in SoCal for training. Don’t remember the exact price, but the metro link year pass for a kid was cheap as hell, me and buddies all got one, affordable to a kid with his low allowance and doing extra yard work and stuff like that for a little more money. In a month. Easy, with buying some stuff we wanted, you know normal kid stuff candy and gum, soda. The metro link pass at that time applied to busses too…we went all over SoCal on our own, haha, was fun and cool. We were like 6-8, good times and seen a lot of cool and crazy/bad shit…but that’s life and SoCal was getting bad at that time again. Was normal to us, I remember watching a gang fight/shoot out and then them against the cops, during recess, right across from my elementary school, crazy times. We had bullets come through our roof from random shots in the air, to through our walls, as collateral, my sister and I almost got wounded/killed one Christmas morning, when 3 came through the wall, missing us by a bit over a foot, they were shooting at others. We woulda been collateral to them. But the trains, then to a bit later, were fine. New/well maintained and clean, not that louder regularly took them to Portland to see our grandma…as super cheap compared to flying and didn’t that long if no bad storms to close passes till they could be cleared. Awesome scenery going from SoCal to Portland, only one bad experience we got stuck in a pass for like 20 something hours, until crews could clear a way to us, then clear the line for the train, was a bad storm out of Alaska hit when in Northern California up in the mountains. Everyone was pretty bitchy. No food for like 16 hours. Ran out of water and booze and smokes on board, cause for those not old enough, they had full bars and sold cigarettes on trains then. Could smoke anywhere, normal restaurants still allowed smoking in them back then. Nothing bad happened, just a bunch of pissed of people who were being rude, mainly due to lack of caffeine and nicotine/alcohol when they didn’t have the others. Other than that. Good times, and still wish rail travel was a major thing and looked after, it would be a great vacation if you still could, like across the US, and was clean/maintained.
Mister Train must now become a fixture of the channel. The Dropship on the next Tex Talks Battletech needs the picture of Macho Man with the body of a train on the side of it.

I love a good dump, but the Christmas dump is something really special. Wish I had the money to donate, but got 3 kiddos and a bunch of school books and other bills on top of Christmas. On the upside went for comical names in my Dorf Fort play through, Sparklefortress is going good with our proud flag of the MIGHTY Sock representing the faction of The Strange Goat (Goat will be proud of me) EDIT: YES! Hunchie has to be in your face, a Hollander is a snipey boy, Hunchie has to get in range to ponch and follow it up with extreme close range prejudice.
Most of the statues being about worms reminds me of old dwarf fortress weirdness, glad that kinda strange stuff hasn't disappeared from the game. You must have a very worm obsessed or goth stone carver.
I decided to grow out a beard for november...I really look good with facial hair, but there is one hang up. I absolutely hate having hair around my mouth. Maybe I should go for the Amish Farmer look or go mutton chops?
sadly there are a bunch of federal regulations about when, where, for how long and in what sequence trains have to blow their horn. I used to be a conductor and believe me we don't want to wake up the neighborhood but get in trouble if we don't.
And I look forward to the dump, like always, always great, entertaining and insane. At least here in Idaho, we generally didn’t put up with it all, stores put the mask thing…cause they had too…99.9% of us never wore a mask, we did just fine, working and living like normal. Stores never tried to tell us to leave, cause we’d tell them to F off and keep shopping. Sore we all know of a person, even here that got sick, even really sick, but none of my friends or coworkers know of a single person who actually died of it, and my most editor coworker by 6 months…his wife is the head nurse of the biggest hospital for 1 1/2-2 hours in any direction, nonone died there from made up/lied about sickness. She was super hard core about masks and all that…but we’re all like, why? For bs flu? Not even bird flu? And we were all drinking hanging out, I was like what’s it gonna do? Nothing? It hasn’t, it’s all hype and bs, now if it was Spanish flu, it would be concerning, and told her the same thing, we got into a drunk, but friendly argument about diseases…then like a month later, she was like yeah this is dumb, some people get sick, some get really sick, most barely notice it’s worse than normal flu. Part of the mask thing. I was like oh. So regular cloth. Or a N95 is gonna stop a virus? Really? Ok, of that’s the case the military would only be issued n95’s and we wouldn’t need a gas mask to stop viruses among other things. Haha, and full nbc gear. Decon stations and procedures, so unless we give everyone that gear, and train them, force to follow it under actual punishment of law…doesn’t matter. And it’s not gonna do a damn thing to help.
Not sure if you thought of this for the BPL but creating a 3rd party source material for the Battletech rpg. you won't have to get full liscening but it would be good to contact the company. but it doesn't have to be canon in lore but if you contact the company the Black Pants Legioneers could be an official in lore thing. that just came to me from the talk about merch. hell it could just be the 3rd party thing and sold for the community I'm sure we'd like it. I would and am going over modules right now with it but that's just me.
