They raised the fines for stealing dead/fallen trees. . Cant take fires fuel before the fire starts.. now if people were able to use what is available would the fires be as bad or uncontrollable if less fuel was available for the fire... seems the Canadian thing wait until it becomes a issue wait a bit then take action

Well if we actually want to stop or slow the risk of fires then clean up the fallen trees ... permit or no permit... do not fine people for picking up a dead tree and using it as fire wood that would get rid of lots of fuel for fires ..
So which federal department is hiring the arsonists? Environment Canada? CSIS?
