I don't think he misunderstood him. Jon was right. Both of them went into the game not knowing how to do it. They were equal. Jon was able to figure it out, and he had no reason at all to teach him how to play the game. Arin needs to learn how to do shit himself this is a problem he has in many games. The Subway Rant™ is literally one of the funniest things I have ever heard
I once watched it while my brother was in the room. He wondered why I was bent over laughing my head off.
i have an idea on how to make arin lose his mind, by putting him in the worst place he can imagine, you start with the setting, he is in subway the person in front of him is battle kid, the person behind him is the dragon from that shitty sonic game, the employee making the sandwich is the purple plant, battle kid is constantly getting killed by the plant, making him take longer to finish his order, the plant is throwing questions at him that he already answered like darts, the dragon is pushing him forward with impatience, and the ground is slippery under arin's feet making him fall with each step, all while jon is watching from the outside with his lunch in his hand and the frog next to him, refusing to tell him how to get out of the whole mess

ya know, the irony of the dragon boss shenanigans, is that once you get to the last phase, you can chop down the last pillar on the right to instantly win the battle. you dont have to keep trying to jump on its head
