Keep making Metal proud Elliot 🤘
Chris is a good dude. I got there a lot.
Elliot the trooper of metal🤘
I'm SO bummed. That's my neighborhood! I would have come to meet you, and show you the BESTstores, and places to eat! I hope you loved my city!
🤙🏼💖🔊💜🎸💚💿❣
Wow! Great interview and a great store. Keep up the good work, Elliott.
Love Vinyl Altar! Anytime I'm in Philly I have to stop by there and drop about $200 - $300 haha
Cool store! Keep the metal alive, Elliot 🤘🏻
Great interview Elliott! You are out spreading the Metal word! Grew up an hour west of Philadelphia and if that store was around then. I would have been there often! Keep up the good work and you are still the coolest kid on UA-cam!
I feel like I'm watching Elliot grow up
Elliot, you should of asked him what his favorite vinyl album artwork is!
holy shit, the first close up of the rack had a LP ive been looking for.. Malevolent Creation : Retribution
When Elliot started to look at the vinyls, a lot of good memories came
My favorite store in the world!
Shaaaaarkbullleeeeettttttttt!!! Thanks for the shout out man!!
Bringing the old way back to new bands, love it
why would anybody thumbs down keep it up man, More with the metal god and u are a little badass
Awsome video! I love stores like that.
Cool
Bad ass store
Great video. Respect on the featured artists display. That's an awesome idea. Great picks BTW Elliott.
I LOVE THE METAL COMMUNITY ON THE INTERNET, because most of the times in your local town or city it's hard to know a place where you can be with your people and enjoy the music you love which in our case is Heavy Metal and when the Metal community puts magazines, videos and interviews it gets crazy and Little Punk is amazing too!!
Keep Metal Alive!! This is my motto :)
I wish I had a shop like that in my area
Great job Elliot! thanks for keeping the scene alive, and promoting shops and people keeping the torch lit. Best of luck to This shop we need them around, I'm a 50 year old metal head loving it since age 11 when heard Kiss , iron butterfly, UFO, deep Purple, Sabbath, to maiden, priest , dio, Metallica, Slayer, GBH, Agnostic Front, Black Flag, DK , constantly evolving , rock on bud !
Such a cool place and a really nice guy running it. Will definitely go there when visiting from Europe! 🤘🤘🤘
Keep up the great Elliot!! I love your channel man. I’ll definitely check this place out if I ever travel to Philadelphia
Awesome video Elliott!! Hope everything is going well!! Have a nice day!!
looks like a Cincinnati to Philly trip is coming soon for me
Nice store!
Makes me wish I didn't live in the UK. I should hop over the pond sometime to check it out! 🙂
Seriously there's not one record shop dedicated to metal in all of the uk? How could the country that invented metal not have a metal shop?
neuroisis85 There’s one in London called ‘Crypt of the Wizard’... supports lots of underground bands too. 🤘🤘
In the UK, you're rather lucky: Resurrection Records, Camden Town, London. Went there in 1997 and it's still there!
So there IS at least ONE cool place left in PA? I love the store. May have to send some music that way. "The Kids today" cant believe I said that, but they have no idea how cool a place like this really is. That is a land of new discovery. So much music. Vinyl no less. The Greatest presentation for music and bands. I would love to see a store like this open in my area here in Florida. ALL music fans should support this place. Not just because they support Metal BUT also they made more than one mention of supporting LOCAL and TOURING bands. If theyre supporting unsigned and up and coming artists, they are top notch and deserve everyone's support. Very cool place and I will make an effort to visit this store.
Live about an hour NW of Philly but see a lot of shows there and always have to visit Vinyl Altar when I’m in town, great store and great interview Elliot !
Unfortunately a lot of the small record stores around here in Southern California are closing. Lovell's in Whittier is still going as is Rhino Records in Claremont. I'm glad that fourteen year old kids are discovering metal and punk, just like I was thirty years ago. Back then you had to search out the stuff. It wasn't all at your fingertips like it is now. You kids have it so easy!
Metal Forever !!!!! Great video !!
Very cool store. Support your local shops!
Awesome video man! 🤟
Few years ago I took my son to a Anthrax show in Wisconsin and Havoc opened up for them my son got his first vinyl from that show now he's kind of hooked
6:33 Fudge Tunnel "The Complicated Futility Of Ignorance" great record
Thank you Elliot and stores like Vinyl Altar for spreading the gospel of heavy metal. No pun intended.
Awesome 🤘🏻
Flipping through those vinyls at the end seeing those Bongzilla albums. Want to here some heavy ass guitar riffs? Gateway is a perfect start to be introduced to the band
Nice piece!! Got me craving about some records there!!
Good stuff keep it goin Elliot. 👍👍👍
I’ve been there once. Cool record store. It was the first time I’ve been to a record store with so much metal. The record stores near my house don’t have a lot of metal, but have a lot of classic rock. I took advantage of the large amount of metal records and bought a lot.
I would love to go there, but I’m in the Philippines. In the middle of Coronavirus. But I’d love to go there after COVID.
Wish we had shop like this here in the Atlanta area
When we can finally leave the uk I so want to go to this store! 🤘🤘😬
Hi Elliott, cool store.
That’s a really cool shop. Would love to open a shop one day but I’m not gonna lie fear is holding me back. Fear that I don’t know enough. Anyway, awesome interview.
Cool store!! There's not a lot of these places around anymore.. Used to go to record joints back in the early 90s and it was like going into a candy store.. I wanted to buy everything..
Cool Great job Elliot! You Rock!!
\m/ Another awesome interview, Elliot. That seems like such a cool record store. You are one helluva interviewer. \m/ =D
2:54 I saw Dead, hell yeah
I've ordered numerous LP's from Vinyl Altar via Discogs. Great Record Store!
I have got to make a trip back to Philly.
Seems like such a cool guy
If I was closer, I would be there all the time!
Oo I saw a Baroness record in there
Brujeria...!
Disposable Heroes in background 🤘
Great store
Love carcass and autopsy
Love seeing the King’s X album!
those were some very good picks you got.
Awesome

I hope to be there one day
Mr jay
If i ever end In the USA I'm definitely buying my vinyl's from that store we don't have enough of them in the UK anymore. Thank you Elliot and all the little punk people crew for a awesome upload 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Man we need a store like that in Melbourne!
Eliot, these are amazing interviews. I just went through a lot of your videos, and you are doing an amazing job. I couldn't help but smile @4:45 when i saw Mgla vinyl in the background. Have you ever listened to them, and if yes, how do you feel about their music? Cheers!
Good close up of Agnostic Front first album hard to come by best nyc hardcore band
Son of a BITCH I wish this place was in my small town shit hole. I mean, I'd go broke, so it's probably a good thing it isn't in my town. But there is only one record store around here, and they really don't carry much metal at all. A shop like this would be a dream come true.
like the video 🤘
Unleashed in the East is one of my favorite albums 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Danny Williams we’ve been waiting to pick that one up for a while! it was on our want list for too long!
@Little Punk People I love songs 3,4,5,6, & 7 especially. They're great songs to listen to and awesome to play on guitar. I love Priest and the idea of Japanese people loving this music. Music is universal. Especially listen to 6:07 of Victim of Changes. 🤘🤘
I'll be in the Static X section if you need me
Metal rules!
4:29 I see that Electric Citizen Album. Those guys are awesome, check 'em out.
Welcome to Philly, dude! If you want a cool place to eat, go to Grindcore Coffeehouse and Hip City Veg. METAL!! 🤘🏻🌱🤘🏻
Charles Espinosa I will definitely check both of those places out! thank you! 🤘🏻🌱
Aye, Archspire!
Brujera is amazing
Do you have a website ,do you ship
FUCK! He just bought the UNleashed in the East JP and Immortal At Heart of Winter vinyl. Chris, get those back in before July 4.LOL
You were an actor in the movie Terrifier 2??? I just saw it a few days ago I'm pretty sure it was you or someone that looks totally like you! Very cool movie
I saw in the corner at 4:24 GLORYHAMMER!
It makes me sad to know his wife died a few years back. And you can tell it's taking a toll on him because the serious drop in quality in his store reflects that.
If I walk into this store anything that has to do with megadeth will magically disappear
whoa, what are those m.u.s.c.l.e. figures?
Dio was the best vocally and emotionally speaking
Good job..ur like me at 15b.
M
Lords of chais vinyl store?
I went out there right after Maryland Deathfest hoping to find original pressings but Chris said it best most of it is new vinyl. Left with nothing but cool store.
vome to chicago and check out METEOR GEM ITS THE HOLY GRAIL
Metal church in the pride section?
"McCabree". Lol. They were so much like us. Except there would have been 100 insults and obscene comments. They were cooler then us.
Killing is my business and business is Good... 👍
Living in the bible belt, you never see places like this. Sucks :/
-Dear Dad. Buy this kid a freaking tote bag to carry his records in. Its good to give your kids an above average music collecting experience, as this is their most important year to make the best impression on.
How could you gloss over Pelle Ohlin like that?!?!?!😂
I really wish there were more places like this
Iron Head agreed! best thing we can do is support the ones that do exist as much as possible! 🤘🏻
ItsDrew look up utopia records/ it’s a Metal/punk shop in Sydney Australia its the best place in the world
@@Lxcifer420 I'm in Australia but I'm a long way from Sydney. I've had a look on their website and was very impressed. The only gripe I have is they are out of stock of a lot of old CD's like the first Deicide album, the first Dismember album etc. Is there a way you can order them? Because I didn't find it on their site.
Dark Realm Records in Downey, CA.
Owned by the actual band members of Sadistic Intent.
