A day in Auroville| Mahabalipuram Shore Temple| Journey from Pondicherry to Kolkata| Episode 4

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our channel with a brand new travel vlog.
Day 1: Watch us traveling to Pondicherry or Puducherry from Kolkata by a morning flight with Indigo to Chennai International Airport. From the airport we went to the CMBT bus terminus by Chennai Metro and got an AC bus to Pondicherry Bus stop.
After a short 2km auto ride, we reached White Town or French Colony of Pondi, where we stayed for 4 mights in an AirBnB apartment.

We had a nice time in the evening having dinner at the Coromandel Cafe located at the Romain Rolland street next to Rock Beach or Promenade Beach.
Day 2: We went to Eden beach, one of the most beautiful and serene beaches of Pondicherry. Then we took a boat ride through the backwaters, visited river mouth, fishing harbor, mangroves, an archeological site named Arikamedu and had a sumptuous seafood lunch.
In the evening we strolled through the beautiful road of the French town and explored the nearby attractions.

Day 3,4,5 & 6: On the next few days, we explored the other beaches in Pondicherry like the Serenity Beach. We also visited the various churches in the town of Pondicherry and the various markets and definitely the French styled cafes.
Day 7: We spent an entire day in Auroville exploring the art and culture of this community and learnt about the concept and idea of human unity and dream that was ideated by Rishi Arabindo Ghosh and The Mother.
Day 8: We started our return journey to Kolkata via Chennai. On the way we took a break to explore Mahabalipuram, spent our time visiting temples and other attractions built by Pallav dynasty.
In the afternoon we took a flight to Kolkata from Chennai airport.
