This sounds like a fantastic second spawn tank, later in the game you'll run into more adats, helis, lower tier atgm carriers etc. If you lose it early game it will be sorely missed later
Against Russia it's a good first spawn since they have BMPs and a lot of KA 50 spawners. Not to mention all nations have rockets and atgms on planes

Iron Fist does disrupt APFSDS though, the issue is that the APS needs 300 milliseconds to detect and repel a threat, and the problem with WT maps, is that most are so small, that a lot of darts reach you in under 300ms

For what you point out at 19:00, at the start of the game, the match recognizes more players. However, these players never connect. What I think happens (won't say this is what happens, because I don't know) is that players see the map, and force close the game through task manager before the map loads., thus skipping crew lock and being able to get another map. This has the effect of the game suddenly realizing it has 3 or 4 empty players for some reason and it removes them from the team list.
tbh i don't think that is it, even at low tiers it happens to me, and there aren't this many sweats every match at low tier

@@tictaculer I mean, it's an option on the 2 so if the black night does get one, it'll be the same situation as the 2 which you can pick if you want it or not.
@@tictaculer speed is fine and barely changes with the armour in a practicality sense. This is a tank without its combat package and should at the very least have it as a unlock and if you don't want it then don't fit it.
It won’t. Black night was a demonstrator and additional armor wasn’t equipped on it. I know that it could be, since it’s still the same chally 2 but I guarantee you, that’s gonna be Gaijin explanation for it not getting additional armor.
NGL if I could take the extra armor off all my chally’s I would. I run the 2 slick and I wish the 2C and TES could be slick as well. The 2C is so heavy anyway I go ahead and equip it and the TES doesn’t have the option. It’s the same for the Stryker. If I could take off all that weight I def would.
When you run out of new vehicles, you use what you've got, and sometimes it's fun to shwack modern tech with some WW2 stuff, lol.

Now the last Challys we can get: Chally 2E (Export version with an 1500hp MTU), Megatron (technology demonstrator with upgraded TES package or thermal Cammo like the Rheinmetall Solar Shield or the Saab Barracuda System) and last but not least Chally 3 with or without trophy
Chally 3 won’t be coming for a long while, nor will 2E tbh. However, I just put a suggestion on the forum’s about adding an OES mod for the TES. The OES gets a Challenger 3 hull(1500hp CV12-8A, Gen 3 Hydrogas, Saab Barracuda). It’s a part of the HAAIP program.
@@Fireball-ms1kk OES does not get gen 3 hydrogas or the CV12-8A. Operational entry standard is just the system additions made to standard British army challenger 2’s for use in operations.

Firstly operational entry standard (OES) wasn’t the result of the heavy armour automotive improvement program (HAAIP) it was simply the predecessor to theatre entry standard (TES) from 2008, it was introduced around 2015 as a standardized system for operational deployments and includes add on Dorchester, ERA and bar armour, backing plates for the add on armour, an IED signal jammer (“bird table”) along with the Saab barracuda thermal camouflage. The RWS was retained from TES.
The Gen three hydrogas and CV12-9a engines are a result of the HAAIP but Babcock are still experimenting with potential wider powerpack improvements.
@@HJDore as of 2021 the challenger 2 hulls were upgraded to the -8A standard, as well as the gen 3 hydro-gas as preparation for the Challenger 3 upgrade package.
I think the problem with megatron is that it is used to trial new things and not all at once. It had an improved engine at one point but it doesn't always. It tested better sabo and hesh but again it doesn't always have them. Ultimately it isn't that different to challanger TES on paper. However the streetfighter package being added to the TES as an option would be very nice. The challanger 2 E would be a great addition with it having the faster engine. Challanger 3 won't be added for a long long time since it's only gone into development now and a lot of things will likely be added or removed. For exmaple the version of the chally 3 that was shown off had an improved engine but they have already decided to stick with the old one(sigh) and may change to an improved one in the future.
I would normally take 18 sabot and 5 hesh because man those Roland SAMs go boom when you hit that radar. Light vehicles and aa get disintegrated if you hit the right spot too so it’s always worth it
17 and 5 is the ideal amount if you want none in the front of the tank

Short version: Black Night uses the same engine as the other CR2s, so the HP in-game is right, and the actual mobility of CR3 seems a bit up in the air at the moment.
Long and boring version: Challenger 3 is composed of a couple different programs, namely the Life Extension Program (LEP) and Heavy Armour Automotive Improvement Program (HAAIP). BAe and Rhm worked on proposals for the LEP, with BAe adding extra tech to the existing CR2 turret (CITV, Hardkill APS, other changes that don't have an impact in WT like sights and FCS) and Rhm doing a full turret swap to use the smoothbore L/55 gun (L55A1) among other things (also sights and FCS).
The HAAIP is looking at mobility upgrades and afaik is still ongoing, and everything I've seen so far has been pretty vague about what changes are being made to the CV12 engine, probably because "Caterpillar Shrewsbury Limited own confidential information in the form of Drawings and Test Specifications." CAT did propose an upgrade to the CV12 engine that would increase the engine's output to 1500hp at 2400rpm (common rail fuel injection with the intention to fit electronic engine monitoring/management) but we haven't heard anything about that since, though the current upgrades are to a CV12-8A standard (the current being 6A iirc) with some documents even mentioning a 9A standard, which could just be a typo but who knows. There's also work on the transmission and cooling that the MoD is being vague about.
House of Lords confirmed that the Challenger 3 will use the CV12-9A engine, with CV12-8A being used on the existing recovery variants of the CR2, though there’s no detail on what’s different about the 9A
There is also a new types of modular armour use to replace dorchester and Cobham Armour, I believe it's called the Epsom and Farnham, sounds pretty cool 😎

The British Black Knight was not showcasing the goodies for Challenger LEP it was competing for the contract but lost to the Rhinemetall bid which is now the Challenger 3.

if u dont drink coffe try out some green tea or Yerba (espiecially yerba, is rly heathy, works like coffe, tastes horrible if made wrong and kinda u gotta get used to it, but its much more healthy alternative).

The more top tier gameplay I see, the more I know why my hardstop is at 7.0. Black and White screen, press rangefind, leftclick, get helicoptered. The variety really is down to the bare minimum.

Justin, you still need to make update video on your sound setting because i would love to have same sounds as you, clearly hearing what is where. For me for some reason no matter much i try to configurate the sounds they just don't work like your does. So if you would make a small talk video about that it would be nice, thank you.
Something related to that, good headphones make a bigger difference than you think. Not like, gaming headphones, like decent open backs, or higher end closed backs. Stuff like ad700x's, M50x's, HD600's etc

If I remember right, they added now the possibility to get repaired and get the fire extinguished by all team members, not only squad and light tanks.
Updated with new mechanics, now you can repair with all vehicles and putting out fires also.
Teammates boost the repair by x2, squadmates by x3. And you can thanks them by pressing "T" as it pops on the HUD 😄

Unpopular opinion, this should not get additional protection against chemical rounds because it doesn't work as intended anyways. Besides, this is what the tank actually looks like as wll.

The laser rangefinder automatically sets the range for the gun when used.

I've been watching warthunder since 2016 but i haven't played it since i don't have a PC or Console because I'm dead poor even if i work it will take probably like 10+ yrs or so
Soooo they nerfed it sooo fast. APS was able to catch low power APFSDS (those flying slower than 1700m/s) and now it cant even protect you from some HEAT shells... ah.. I was expecting nerf so noone would be playing it (like they did to TES) but not so quickly.

No. Gajin are seriously needing the challengers from their real life spec. For example, they haven’t given any of the tanks chobham armour, and they haven’t given it the engine it’s meant to have. On top of that, they cap the speed of the tanks for literally no reason.

America deserves the tusk package on abrams as well as aps because new abrams have them
Sep V3 has APS, though as I'm aware they've only just entered service back in 2020. If that does ever get added, expect the Leopard 2A7, T14 Armata, T15, Ajax, Boxer, and other modern IFVs in service with Europe.
