I was a kid in the late forties to mid-fifties. In my town one of the two movie theatres showed a serial on Saturdays. But in the next town down river, the theatre showed five cartoons on Saturday. We always went to the movies on Saturday.
5...you guys must have been in heaven.....
thanks for posting and having a version with the original credits.
The Dead End Kid's don't ya just love em 🥳🥳 Billy had more lives than a cat he should put on the lottery he'd probably win 🤪
Like it Thanks for posting 👍👍
great stuff, thank you.
I actually have a metal Junior G-man crest / button given to me by a comic book collector ..I think I'll put it on my baseball cap.
The movie serial may be somewhat lower than a B movie, but it is an important genre that is made no more and deserves to be preserved.

Yeah thanks a lot for posting Love The Bowery boys very good
I remember if Leo grocery was not present, then it was Billy Halop and vice versa. I liked both equally and for different reasons. Halop was more down to earth whereas Gorcey was more humorous. There may be a few with both of them present.
Where is Leo Gorcey?
Smart business move for Huntz Hall to switch to Leo Gorcey from Billy Halop. Not that I don't like Billy Halop, however.
please mr in spanish my country speak spanish the subtitules
Love the dead end kids aka Bowery boys aka east side kids. Where is Leo Gorcey aka Muggs ?
I read that in 1945 the franchise became The Bowery Boys, now owned by Leo Gorcey. For the next 10 years he was the highest paid actor in Hollywood. He stopped appearing in the last few movies of the franchise after his father Bernard Gorcey died in a car accident. Incredible how he made a decades long career from an original Broadway play , Dead End, just playing one character. Same for Huntz Hall.

I really want to watch this, but I can't tolerate the distorted, stretched-out picture. You're showing it in the wrong aspect ratio. Please fix it and repost.
