- It's been a while since we raided the kitchen drawers for macro photography subjects. In this macro photography tutorial we're using one of the most versatile tools around. It usually only grates cheese, but for us, it's an abstract photography multi-tool! Let's check out some cheese grater macro photography ideas!

Grate job Ben!! Very unique idea. Loved the bokeh balls.
The reflections and bokeh is really lovely but a bit unpredictable! Glad you enjoyed this one and good pun!
great video. Looks like I'll be hunting up a cheese grater soon. Thanks for the presentation.
Worth trying other kitchen utensils while you're at it!

What am I going to do with my cheese grater you ask. Let my wife grate some cheese and later wash it. Then hide it from her whilst I play abstract photography for as long as I can. Thanks Ben for another great upload..... or do I mean Grate upload?
Maybe it's time to invest in a cheese grater of your own so as to not upset the boss?
It’s also a guiro.
It might gate the stick down a bit over time!
Box Grater, just sayin'
The greatest of the graters.
You are not using the grater as a tool. You are using it as a subject.
Disagree, the subject in the final photo is the LEGO miniature, the grater acts as a light modifier, reflector and backdrop all in one.
