H.C. You are well aware that I have been a devotee of this couple for 20 years or more. Not alot I dont know about them. They are the couple I measure everyone else by. Best ever Latin couple ey? IMO they are but do you think they are even better than Riccardo and Julia and Donnie and Gaynor or Espen and his partner who"s name I cant recall right now or Kirrill and Polina? You've said the same thing about them too. It's a very simple question and a simple yes or no is all that's required, no long explanation needed. I know I wont get that answer and me and alot of people on y/t know why.
@@joetesta8754 The honourable Joe Testa and I have one thing in common -- the deepest thinkable love and admiration for Slavik and Karina´s FANTASTC latin dancing.
However, Mr. Testa has not yet learned the noble art of being polite, and precise.
After many, many corrections by me, he is for the first time careful to write Donnie Burns (and not "Donny Burns" as he has done in the past. And Polina is not again called "Ina" (who is dancing with Troels)). BUT the not perfect man Joe Testa ALSO CONTINUES his crusade against the appropriate spelling of names of world champions. This time he is missing the names of professional world latin champions Yulia (dancing with Riccardo) and Kirsten Salberg (dancing with Espen Salberg). AND his unstoppable bias against Kirill (dancing with Polina), now reaches a new height: He calls him the ugly word (and sound) "Kirrill".
So teacher Helge once again corrects student Joe.
Just ONE MONTH AGO Mr. Joe Testa here on UA-cam wrote about Donnie Burns & Gaynor Fairweather:
(I quote) "They are not only legends, but immortals." And (I quote) :"They are unsurpassed to this day."
It is UNPOLITE to arrest Mr. Testa that he contradicts himself when he just days later (in his comment above) insists that Slavik and Karina is (I quote) "the best ever latin couple ".
The fantastic top class of immortals has one characteristic: everybody in this class is the best, because they are fantastic. It is polite to refer to each one of them as "the best".
Therefore I will never arrest Mr. Testa contradicting himself. He is right in contradicting himself.
Therefore, he should learn to politely admire that Helge (me) is also polite to these FANTASTIC best of the best.
@@helgechristophersen7665 You would make a great politician, because you are a master at talking alot, spin doctoring, saying very little that's relevant or of real interest and avoiding the question. You excel in evasion. The term THE BEST in English at least, means one thing and one thing only. THERE IS NO ONE OR ANYTHING BETTER, FULL STOP END OF STORY, GOT IT?. You can twist it to mean what ever suits your agenda.
Please, do point to where I stated that Donnie And Gaynor are unsurpassed. In terms of the number of world titles and reputation perhaps, yes absolutely unsurpassed. In other ways is perhaps arguable and open to personal opinion.
I asked if in your opinion they are better than R&Y and other a few other past greats who you have heralded and champion. You have masterfully avoided addressing this question but instead highlighted errors in misspelling names. Can you see why I think you're a joke and why I'm not polite to you like I am to others? Probably not. Call it bias if you like but I just don't like Kirill's Dance Style and nor do alot of others as seen by some of the comments and I've explained in depth why. You don't have to agree. I will ask again to clarify your original comment. Do you believe S&K are better than R&Y. You have said the same thing about both and also others so choose who is the best or just Shut the xxxx Up because you are ridiculous..

@@helgechristophersen7665To recall my comments to such in depth degree indeed shows how closely you read my remarks and how much value you hold in them. God knows you copy them often enough. Thank you, that is indeed great complement. Either that, or you are so miserably bored and lonely and spend far too much time trolling through these videos trying to get attention.
Unsurpassed in what respect? Titles, YES, achievement, YES recognition, YES notoriety, YES. Donnie and Gaynor won13 world titles and countless others and competed for a very long time, most of that together to gain the recognition they earned. Slavik and Karina danced together for only 5 years, didnt win a world professional title, but despite that they have created more memorable work than anyone in dancesport imo and have amassed a following and fan base that is on par, if not stronger than that of D&G or R&Y. who between them hold 23 world pro titles. Slavik and Karina haven't needed world titles to speak for their dance ability. No one matches that. THAT IS WHY I CREDIT THEM AS BEING THE BEST. That of coarse is only my opinion others will have their own opinions and that's as it should be.
ANYONE CAN BE CATEGORISED AS LEGENDS AND IMMORTALS IN ANY SPORT, BUT ONLY ONE CAN BE REGARDED AS THE BEST. YOU MISS THE POINT AS YOU ALWAYS DO. It is also grossly inappropriate to reply to someone directly and speak to them as a third person. Do you know what a third person means? probably not. Either speak directly or don't bother pal.
You still want to play the evasive game and not give an answer to a very simple direct question and clarify you're original remark, which was. Do you believe S&K are better than R&Y.
