Conrail In Its Final Month Around Elkhart Indiana
Вставка

- The first scene is an eastbound at Smilax Rd. between New Carlisle and Lydick, followed by a couple trains at CP 426, the west end of Elkhart yard. The next few scenes are at Elkhart by the depot. The conclusion is at Goshen, with a local working a plastics place, plus a couple of eastbounds on the mainline. These were taken late in May of 1999, just days/weeks before Conrail was split between NS and CSX.
Cool stuff! I'd bet the train at 09:45 is GREL from Grand Rapids, with the MMRR hoppers on the rear.
Awesome I always loved the blue
Wow! Now that is nice footage! Absolutely love the CSX YN2 GP40-2 at 4:04 and 19:15! Awesome!
First train at Smilax Road is westbound, not eastbound. The South Shore electric runs parallel to the north of Conrail here.
Nice closeup of that old NYC GRS signal lighting up! Most of those have been replaced by Norfolk Southern.
Ok. Thanks for the correction.
3:30 LETS GOOOOOO
