although this is a bromance series, and i lost a bl, i really love this bromance series for real. storyline is beautiful, plot is well made up, and this series is meaningful in different ways. chemistry is top notch as well. weak hero class 1 and high school return of a gangster are my most favourite dramas. It can be amazing, if they can give us Season 2 of this series !!!
The novel and manhua is actually BL,,they fall in love and become a couple in the end. One of the reasons why Sekyung's dad was so disturbed by Yiheon's presence in his son's life was he kinda knew his son is closeted gay. But the director heavily censored the drama adaptation and made it look like bromance since both the protagonists are being played by mainstream kdrama actors and doing an outright BL can put some labels on them in the industry. It's the same as "The Untamed",, the novel & manhua is BL but the drama adaptation is censored bromance coz of the same reason.
It's a bromance with a great story and a great cast. Even if a solid bl fan, worth a watch. Has a serious side to it but also has its fun moments too. Highly recommend.A stand out series 👌
