Fernando Alarcon I know they said Ayton most likely going number one but I feel bamba with his long wingspan is a better fit with Booker and Jackson. Suns need a true defender and that's bamba
Im so glad they did his weaknessess to because at first i was thinking why isnt he #1??, still i think he has the most upside out of anybody in the draft though
Stephano Sorry to disappoint, but he’s actually 20 years old. He’s a very good player, and for sure a top 5 pick, but his upside is somewhat overrated. Still rooting for him, though
JJJ has the most upside I'd say. Slightly smaller dimensions but much better agility. Both are prospects that can turn into great versatile defenders who can stretch the floor though.
I am a happy Magic fan! I am glad we went BPA instead of drafting for need. From the interviews I have seen, Bamba seems like a great kid. No doubt he has work to do, but I am confident he can really improve if he stays motivated and gives it his all. He has the physical tools to be great, but it's all gonna come down to WANT TO and if he has the mental toughness to impose his WILL on the rest of the league.
If those are his question marks then I'm gambling on that potential with a top 2 pick. On top of that, smart players are gems and hard to find. He has the type of character and skill set I'd love to have on my team.
Bamba gonna be like Tatum. There is two other guys in the draft stealing the spotlight when Bamba will probably be the best player out of of everybody.😳STOP SLEEPING ON HIM
Lebron James tatum ceiling is super high. Denovan is 2 yo older. Tatum hasnt yet in his peak. Tatum is a match up nightmare. He is still growing just turned 20.
kezO0622 both of them haven't reached their peak.Only difference is that Mitchell plays in a tougher conference and Tatum didn't really play phenomenal until the CF
Lebron James its not if you play in a tougher cuz east and west plays each other also. East has been competitive this year. Denovan is currently the offensive focal point of the jazz while tatum is a 3rd to 4th offensive option. Give tatum the 1st offensive option and probably he will make evry1 jaw dropping.
i think there is a lot of undervaluing going on in terms of how bright the prospects are. He is very articulate, and obviously a smart kid. I think a team that values that may find a gem.
This guy is my #1 pick, no doubt. Just his skill set, as a defender, is enough for me. This guy is physical, agile, & fast. He's outsltanding as a shot blocker, & rebounder. And with that 7'8" wingspan, he covers a lot of space. Plus, he's gonna get bigger. That's scary. I'd be very surprised, that in a few years, he won't be a star. The sky is the limit for this guy. Man, I hope he gets on a good team!
Mohamed Bamba is a person I really look forward to be honest. My fav would be Marvin Bagley lll but I really love this guy and just how he plays. Very talented. My 3 roty candidate .Marvin Bagley lll .Jaren Jackson Jr. .Mohamed Bamba
He seems more like 7ft2. Maybe because he is thin as a stick figure. If he manages to become muscular like Antentokoumpo, he will be a real nightmare for opponents.
whenever i see tall explosive players like this, injuries always come to mind. hope he learns ways to avoid injuries like how to land and stuff form professionals.
I’m a hawks fan and we should totally pick him up. Luka would be nice and I’m kinda neutral on Bagley (especially considering his fit with our team and defense) but I’m high on Mo Bamba. A front court of Prince, Collins and Bamba would be awesome. We can also package our late first round picks and Shroder for a point guard
If he stay healthy he will be force in the nba, I'm not going overhype him but I will say him with Devin Booker and one all star type playing can take the suns to a new ceiling they haven't seen in years
Intangibles are great. He will add muscle and be a Capela/Gobert hybrid which is great. The right team with a good guard is essential for him. Mavs could pick him up since Noel is likely gonna leave in the offseason.
He reminds me of AD, was seen as primarily a defensive big coming outta college. Seeing him knocking down 3s/midrange pullups and show good feet down in the post, though, makes me think that he also has potential of developing into a great offensive big, too, like AD, which is a really scary prospect.
some of the weaknesses dont make sense best blocker in the draft and can affect peoples shot but his weakness is defensive motor which technically means his speed on defense but he got to where want to for the most part just made the wrong read and then offensive toughness? I think thats the wrong word for that just when he scores he does it very aggressively maybe you could say needs more perimeter work offensively
A big man that plays great defense, decent offense, super high potential, and isn't Injured. These are the types of prospects bulls fans should be hyped for. Not that cripple MPJ.
I think the only concern with him is his offense. Lacks that touch around the rim. But he is gonna be a Monster at the D. If somehow he can gain some muscles and polish that offense, he'll be unstoppable.
Mep One i hope DA could make that move with out salvaging the line up of kyrie hayward brown and tatum. If Mamba will suit up in celtic green they will contend for 10 years
Jose Nino they have this year 27th pick. Nxt year own pick sac pick, memphis pick, 2020 clips pick own pick. Cant memorize everything but damn its still a lot left
LEBRON JAMES Rudy gobert is black, but I guess you mean bamba is the dark skin gobert. Because to call him not black is disrespectful. Do to most African Americans is mixed
Remarkable SeiF players grow up physically in nba. He will get some weight, don't worry. Look at how Durant, Ingram type of players change over time. Even look at Al Horford who was like soft dude on Atlanta for years, now he is insanely tough guy on the floor with Boston. Physical toughness of the game won't be a problem for a smart guy like Mo Bamba.
Im a Rockets fan. I would so totally take my chances on a freak like this and trade capela for this kid. No matter how much Houston develops Cap, he wont ever be an offensive player. Upside to this kid is like KG, young Dikembe (with a shot), and way better than hassan whiteside. I wish i was a GM, cant miss out on this kid.
Embiid's college stats: 11.2 ppg 8.1 rpg 1.4 apg 2.6 bpg 0.9 spg Bamba's college stats: 12.9 ppg 10.5 rpg 0.5 apg 3.7 bpg 0.8 spg Not saying he will be better than Embiid in the NBA but the potential is there
Would love to see Boston Trade to draft Mo Bamba, ideally just trading picks and whatever extra pieces make the salary work but I think I would trade Brown for him if that's what it takes. I like Brown but we have lots of wings, would love to see a rim protector like Bamba along with Boston's already great perimeter defense. No disrespect to Horford who's defensive effort at his age was great last year.
this guy has the length, skills, toughness, motor, bball IQ and is book smart forgot to mention his sprint was faster than john wall, victor oladipo, westbrook and some other players
I want him to be a Knick... if they can somehow trade Kanter & C.Lee w/ our 2nd round pick for Memphis’ 4th pick & take back Parsons contract while also keeping the 9th Pick they better do it. Mo bamba & Mikal bridges would be the perfect draft
Long, athletic, skilled, talented, and undeniably game changing. Top 5 pick without a question.
Toxic Chuck he going number 1 the sun have to draft him
Dramatic _Donald your mixing up Ayton and Bamba bro
Fernando Alarcon I know they said Ayton most likely going number one but I feel bamba with his long wingspan is a better fit with Booker and Jackson. Suns need a true defender and that's bamba
Dramatic _Donald Bamba could easily be the best player in the draft. But like every draft everyone is a gamble we will have to wait and see.
Fernando Alarcon you're*
It’s kind of crazy he’s knocking down 3s now 2 , this guy is slept on frfr , he looks like a generational center too
Bruh, are humans even meant to be that big. He probably half engineer (Prometheus).
Yes. Humans actually used to be around 20’ tall.
You can research all this.
DJ Kevgeez boi
DJ Kevgeez Nah I’ll never research that, sounds like some short guy Jedi mind trick.
DJ Kevgeez something similar to a human but not a human js
Just cause they don’t look like you doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Talk about ignorance.
Im so glad they did his weaknessess to because at first i was thinking why isnt he #1??, still i think he has the most upside out of anybody in the draft though
Caleb Davis yea I agree. but the biggest thing is he's motivated and smart. he's also only 18. So he's gonna get better
should be #1 like he was earlier in the year... dude has been working with Emid
Stephano Sorry to disappoint, but he’s actually 20 years old. He’s a very good player, and for sure a top 5 pick, but his upside is somewhat overrated. Still rooting for him, though
His weaknesses are his low bb iq and his weight
JJJ has the most upside I'd say. Slightly smaller dimensions but much better agility. Both are prospects that can turn into great versatile defenders who can stretch the floor though.
I am a happy Magic fan! I am glad we went BPA instead of drafting for need. From the interviews I have seen, Bamba seems like a great kid. Welcome to Otown Big guy. We need ya. Good luck brotha
Bamba is a beast
This year's draft is exciting
If those are his question marks then I'm gambling on that potential with a top 2 pick. On top of that, smart players are gems and hard to find. He has the type of character and skill set I'd love to have on my team.
i love his play! hopefully his knees wont fail him someday.
Welcome to Orlando!
Man I super impressed with this video. Your ability to analyze prospects is amazing.
Damn, he was looking good in the first half of the video. I like this kid, think He'll be a good pro
Bamba gonna be like Tatum. There is two other guys in the draft stealing the spotlight when Bamba will probably be the best player out of of everybody.😳STOP SLEEPING ON HIM
FJO 9 I am sorry but Donavan>Tatum
more like rudy gobert but can shoot mid range
Lebron James tatum ceiling is super high. Denovan is 2 yo older. Tatum hasnt yet in his peak. Tatum is a match up nightmare. He is still growing just turned 20.
kezO0622 both of them haven't reached their peak.Only difference is that Mitchell plays in a tougher conference and Tatum didn't really play phenomenal until the CF

He will gonna be star
I’m going to follow his success, I see something electric about this kid 😳🔥
Mo Bamba is a beast, it'll be nice to see him play against the other big men in the nba. Also, I'm still waiting for the Doncic video!
Not only is he very athletic, he’s super intelligent. Very well spoken, and a stand up individual. Rooting for him wherever he goes
Hot headed and energetic. Love to win. I can see him benefiting being on a top champ contender team not sure about this. just feelings lol.
i think there is a lot of undervaluing going on in terms of how bright the prospects are. He is very articulate, and obviously a smart kid. I think a team that values that may find a gem.
wow this guy is great, I think Luka and him should be 1 and 2 in few years
My favourite prospect this year is Mohammed Bamba!!!
FUTURE ROTY! I CAN SEE THE FUTURE
This is going to be the best athlete in the 2018 draft.
hes denfinitely up next !
The name Mo Bamba just sounds like an All Star name
Nate Erre Like Bol Bol
I'm not sure...
Mohamed Bamba is a person I really look forward to be honest. My fav would be Marvin Bagley lll but I really love this guy and just how he plays. Very talented.
My 3 roty candidate
.Marvin Bagley lll
.Jaren Jackson Jr.
.Mohamed Bamba
Best player in the draft. Imagine rebounding like Drummond, scoring like Towns, and blocking BETTER than Gobert.
I see generational type talent .. This guy could be one greatest centers, if he put his to it
This comment aged poorly
@@jpchambers5882 Well your comment didn't age as well because Mo Bamba has been improving this season
@@basketballeditsprod.7377 bamba isn’t playing like a star tho
LETS GO MAGIC!
I hope he turns out to be like a mix of Clint capela and The Greek Freak but better, the sky the limit for this young guy.
Ernesto Acosta Are you pertaining to his face?
i am praying for mavs picking him
Good ass content Lol
With The Right Tools And System if he can put it together Mo Bamba is going to be a Unicorn 🦄
He looks taller than 7 foot
agree
Jacob Krause probably his hair
Jacob Krause Well he technically is, he's 7'1
7'10 wing span, that's why
Jerahmeel Regala hes 6 ft 11
Seen him play in person, we will look back on this young brother and wonder how he didn't go #1
Bulls need him they need to get this dude to pair with Lauri would be a nasty duo!!!!
ESPN y'all can't give this man a better mic
He will be the best player out of this draft class.
ChowDownDetroit [Seoung Lee] i agree
Unfortunately not… Luka is lol
He seems more like 7ft2. Maybe because he is thin as a stick figure. If he manages to become muscular like Antentokoumpo, he will be a real nightmare for opponents.
LoveSalsa it’s called hair
Dallas oohhhh You Better Pick This Guy And Dirk Can Mentor His Fadeaway
Brad Beast Gaming Lol
He needs to get bigger and stronger
whenever i see tall explosive players like this, injuries always come to mind. hope he learns ways to avoid injuries like how to land and stuff form professionals.
This kid would be perfect for the Kings or cavs he's exactly what they need for the future rebuilding
Cavs need this man.
They can play the song La Bamba when he enters a game.
Lalalalala Bamba!
If he stay healthy he will be force in the nba, I'm not going overhype him but I will say him with Devin Booker and one all star type playing can take the suns to a new ceiling they haven't seen in years
Dramatic _Donald I agree ,Ayton is not a good defender while mo bamba can be dpoy
Mo Bamba Future Unicorn 🦄🏀💯
Intangibles are great. He will add muscle and be a Capela/Gobert hybrid which is great. The right team with a good guard is essential for him. Mavs could pick him up since Noel is likely gonna leave in the offseason.
He has potential

Bomba has the potential to be the best player in the draft if he goes to the right team. If Boston trades up to get him he'll be a beast
future league mvp
He's going to the Mavs where he's going to be taught and mentored by the one and only Dirk 41
HotWingKing ! !!!!!!!
HotWingKing ! Dumbass
7'10 wingspan !! Incredible
some of the weaknesses dont make sense best blocker in the draft and can affect peoples shot but his weakness is defensive motor which technically means his speed on defense but he got to where want to for the most part just made the wrong read and then offensive toughness? I think thats the wrong word for that just when he scores he does it very aggressively maybe you could say needs more perimeter work offensively
Mo Bamba can help the Cavs so much
I miss draftexpress
A big man that plays great defense, decent offense, super high potential, and isn't Injured. These are the types of prospects bulls fans should be hyped for. Not that cripple MPJ.
Probably going to take a 2-3 years to fully see what he is really capable of.
*IF the team that drafts him is able to develop him properly.
I think the only concern with him is his offense. Lacks that touch around the rim. But he is gonna be a Monster at the D. If somehow he can gain some muscles and polish that offense, he'll be unstoppable.
Honestly, I'm a Kentucky and Boston Celtics fan and I believe Mo has potential to be better than AD
Boston trade for him and complete your young dynasty!
Mep One i hope DA could make that move with out salvaging the line up of kyrie hayward brown and tatum. If Mamba will suit up in celtic green they will contend for 10 years
Celtics still have plenty of Draft Picks.. so if dallas will tank picks for 2 more seasons then a mo bamba trade is possible
Jose Nino they have this year 27th pick. Nxt year own pick sac pick, memphis pick, 2020 clips pick own pick. Cant memorize everything but damn its still a lot left
kezO0622 if one's gotta go it should be brown
Zac Stone hell no dude has more potential than Mobama
Will be the best player in the draft....
Lupit nito😲
9'8 standing reach *wtffff*
Will Zee I
RIGHT!! i was like what.........😟
He the best rookie in the draft
oh man im sold, he is a cross between Giannis and Gobert. If goes to Celtics its gameover
He looks a good 7'3 in this video
Just imagine when his body fills out and he hits his prime... Dude is gonna hold teams to under 100ppg BY HIMSELF
Gonna be insane in the NBA of the Celtics get him its game over
He the best player in the Draft ... He can be the next Bill Russell or Next Kareem.
Imagine him in 2k19 😳
He could go number one.
Jeez the negatives make them look so bad but the positives make them look so good
why drafting players is hard lol
CEILING(allstar): black rudy gobert(w/ a 3pnt stroke)....
LEBRON JAMES Rudy gobert is black, but I guess you mean bamba is the dark skin gobert. Because to call him not black is disrespectful. Do to most African Americans is mixed
Ohh Bamba, that surname is very rare here in the Philippines. My mothers surname is Bamba. Just sharing.
best big in the draft
2:50 Rui Hachimura⭐️💯
He looks like KD, AD, Giannis & Slender Man had a Baby
Hes a fucking monster
ESPN needs to do this for the top 50 prospects in this draft to make up for the Draft Express lawsuit.
KD SWAGGER might as well do a entire mock draft
Fine with me!
warriors need him
Welcome to Atlanta
Scared of physical play is easily exploited.
Remarkable SeiF players grow up physically in nba. He will get some weight, don't worry. Look at how Durant, Ingram type of players change over time. Even look at Al Horford who was like soft dude on Atlanta for years, now he is insanely tough guy on the floor with Boston. Will be an Atlanta Hawk
He should be a PF
close to mamba
Im a Rockets fan. I would so totally take my chances on a freak like this and trade capela for this kid. No matter how much Houston develops Cap, he wont ever be an offensive player. Upside to this kid is like KG, young Dikembe (with a shot), and way better than hassan whiteside. I wish i was a GM, cant miss out on this kid.

Draft express just let ESPN Deebo the channel lol
Trey Drew they probably bought him out
this guy has the length, skills, toughness, motor, bball IQ and is book smart
forgot to mention his sprint was faster than john wall, victor oladipo, westbrook and some other players
Aaron Gordon, jhonthan Issac, and mo bamba. Orlando magic defense should be elite, especially in the east
He will be the first guy to get trippe double from this rookie class
if this guy can fill out his frame, he could become just as dominant as shaq and an added bonus with a 3-pt shot
The Asian Persuasion my dude don't make such redic blanket statements like this. You sound for lack of a better term uneducated.
Im thinking a stronger dirk nowitzki if he learns dirk's game. probably better as a stretch 4 that rebounds than a 5.
celtics u need to trade anything (except kyrie&tatum) to get this guy hes potential is like AD hes gonna help u beat the warriors
I want him to be a Knick... if they can somehow trade Kanter & C.Lee w/ our 2nd round pick for Memphis’ 4th pick & take back Parsons contract while also keeping the 9th Pick they better do it. Mo bamba & Mikal bridges would be the perfect draft
1:10 I don't believe I have ever seen a hand that far above the rim!
